  • 1. printing a catalog of business cards
I am making a church directory using Outlook 2007. I have all the data required for the directory. However, how do I address the picture on each business card so that I can include it in a mail/merge to make a catalog of church members? 1. I can put the pictures inmanually - however that seem counter productive in light of Outlook 2007 capabilities. 2. Alternately I can print out the business cards in a catalog; but then the Outlook leaves off the pictures. 3. I could include a link field in the mail/merge data; however, there is no such field in the Outlood data form. Help. Any suggestions - I don's want to insert the pictures by manually. Thanks for your suggestions.

When new sales guys start we only want them to see their leads, not the full BCM db. Also we want to prevent them from using the Offline db and export features to keep them from quitting and stealing the data. Is there any way to impose these types of restrictions by user? Our db is on our SBS SQL2005 server. I have some some posts that indicate the answer is No, but it would help if one of the MS guys could confim or deny this feature

Hi,

Currently all contacts end up in 1 BCM folder. I need to create several
folders and make these folders selectable for individual campaigns. When
attempting to create a subfolder in BCM access is denied stating admin
permissions not granted . I am the admin and sole user and unable where to
find the permissions to change this ! Appreciate some help
Cheers

PJ:

Check out Search Folders. You can create criteria to define who is included
in the Search Folder and can define different Folders for contacts,
accounts, opportunities, history, et al.

1.BCM marketing campaign contacts / Rules for folders

I just started working at a company where the previous person who used my
outlook has several lists under BCM that I would like to change, but I am
unable to change them. In addition, when I try to make a marketing campaign,
I can only use the emails that are in BCM and not other lists. Why is
outlook set up like this and how can i import new contact lists into my
business contact manager?

Also, I have created 2 new email addresses and I have different folders that
I would like the emails to go to. I know that I have to change my rules for
this to happen, but I do not understand which rules I have to change. Right
now my email is sending from an address that i do not want it to be sending
to.

2.Office 2007 BCM Marketing Campaign Filter not displaying names

Perhaps someone can help with this: I am trying to create a marketing
campaign in Outlook BCM 2007. I am experiencing three problems:

1. In the new campaign box, under (2) Who will see it, the options for
"already created" and "other" are greyed out.

2. New campaign box, "review and filter", simple filter all options checked,
under "advanced filter" all options are greyed out.

3. New campaign box, "review results" - this is the really big and very
weird problem - I can see that a list of results is created, the tickboxes
are ticked but no names are displayed - there is just a white space. If I
double click on any of the rows, the record is displayed correctly.
Even if I type a name in the search box on this page, the correct record is
found but the name does not display in the preview box on the "review
results" tab.

I'd be very grateful for any ideas.

3.Marketing Campaign with BCM

If I send out a campaign, to 350 persons in my contacts, does it put me in a
junkmailfilter? Does it send emails plusivaly, like 20 emails at a time ore
just all of them at the same time?

4.Mail Merge from BCM/Marketing Campaign

I am trying to do a mail merge from BCM and am having difficulties.
Here is my problem. I am trying to create a marketing campaign. To
get the correct list of contacts to send the letter to, I need to
filter the accounts. When I get to the point to do the mail merge, I
don't get the contact name associated to the account, I get the
account customer name. Therefore, when I do the merge, I get the
account customer name, not the contact name in my document. How do I
get the contact name when I want to filter by account? This seems to
be quite basic yet it doesn't appear to be possible.

5.Marketing campaign with Publisher + BCM

Dear all,

I am trying to use Microsoft Outlook with BCM 2.007 together with Publisher
2007 to make a marketing campaign. I have created a *.pub file that I want to
send to some customers. I make the next steps:

1.- On BCM New Marketing campaign.
2.- I select the receptors (customers) where I want to send the mailing.
3- I select combine with Publisher and select the desired file.
4.- When I click on start campaign the *.pub opens and I have to select
again the receptors to write the wellcome line ?. Is it not possible to use
what I already selected on BCM. This is not very confortable...

And second problem, the mails are sent correctly but on the BCM the
Marketing campaign appears like "don't executed". The problem is that like
this I can't follow the marketing campaign...

I don't understand it, I think that I have to be making something wrong but
I don't know where I fail.

Any ideas will be wellcome.

Thanks,

Julen
