  • 1. Outlook with BCM functioanity with treo 650
I am contemplating getting Outlook with BCM to replace Act! 2008. The basic problem I have had is that over the past 4 years of using act! it syncs well with palm using palm os for act!, but, over time the database begins to become corrupted. Then it takes hours to ferret through the support process to finally be charged more than $200 to have the database repaired. This occurs every eight to ten months. I have nearly 800 contacts. Can outlook fully integrate for use on the treo 650. ie. do the opportunities, appointments, notes, activities all function? -- Don L, Sales Manager

Due to a domain change users no longer have permission to restore a BCM backup file (.MSBCM). Is there a way to restore this data?

Sat, I cannot open or even right click the disfunctional contact in BCM. The contact happens to be me (?!) I do have a copy of the contact I had copied to the regular contacts folder that works ok. The BCM copy used to work fine. I did integrate BCM with Accounting 2008 and this is one of the few contacts that would be affected. I suspect this is the problem. I could just delete the BCM contact and copy in the regular contact, but I am concerned that there may be a systematic problem that affects other contacts or will recur. What do you recommend? I have lost my cd case that had my cd label # on it. I am

know if there is a method or who to contact to retreive
said number?

3.Lost CD and Key - Need Help

I recently had a computer crash and had to wipe the hard drive, the sad part
is I cannot find my CD or the case with the product key on it. I've been
using the Office 2003 Student & Teacher Edition to date.

After I did the complete reinstall of my OS with the recovery CD my computer
came with, I realized I would need the CD key for Office. Couldn't find it
so I emailed tech support and all I kept getting told was to find the CD Key
- obviously I didn't need his help if I had it.

My purpose in writing to him was to see if he could verify my information
that I provided during registration and activation in order to obtain a new

I am now at the point where I cannot use Office because it asks me to
convert to a full version now - so here I am...desperately looking for some
answers. I would think it would be fairly easy to verify registration
information and thus provide me a new key.

Any suggestions other than buying ANOTHER full version of Office? I feel
like the guy who I dealt with was deliberately not helpful just so that I'd
have to go buy another.

Please help!
