Putting a database on another machine (e.g. SBS; much discussed here. Try searching this newsgroup on Google) is a different matter from putting a database on a network share. New security features in Windows software tend to steer users and apps away from using network shares for anything but ad-hoc document sharing. I wouldn't recommend keeping sql server database files in a shared folder for a variety of reasons.
