I"m trying o move to Entourage. Can I print some kind of report or export to some kind of separate file? I can'b believe I"m just screwed here. I knew BCM was bad, butI can't believe there's no way to get my linked items out without opening each specific note and printing it out.

Is it possible to have more than 25 categories in BCM 2007? TIA.
  • 4. Can i unmerge from accounting express 2007?
I am doing a trial to see if Accounting 2007 would be a good change from Quickbooks 2005. I accidentially merged that database with business contact manager and now outlook is rediculously slow. It takes about 5-7 minutes to go from contacts to mail. Not to mention my current contacts (whom should be seperate from the QB customers) are mixed together. I am clueless on what to do, can someone please help me !! Thank you, Pete M. -- Halp
  • 5. How to undelete an opportunity
I accidently deleted an opportunity in BCM2007. Is there any method to restore it? I had actually created a follow up flagged reminder and thought that when you clicked "delete task" in the follow up screen it would only delete the reminder. Nope!

Luther is right. I think you may need to uninstall your Outlook first.

You won't lose anything by uninstalling the standard Outlook and installing
the Outlook from your Outlook with BCM.

That being said... I like surprises. If you could install BCM without
removing the original "standard" Outlook, please reply here and let me know.

1.existing BCM 2003 & trial BCM 2007

I probably have a basic question, but still need to know the answer:

I have two users on my laptop. User #1 and user #2 are currently using 2003
BCM. I am about to download the free trial of Office 2007 primarily to check
out BCM 2007 for user #1. However, I see a note warning current BCM 2003
users that they will need to uninstall BCM 2003 and this has me
worried...both for user #1's existing BCM data but especially for user #2's
existing BCM data. If I go through with this, can someone assure me not to
worry and/or give me the solution? Can user #1 try out 2007 and user #2 still
use 2003? And if I chicken out, can user #1 go back to 2003 without issue?
Thanks for your help.

2.(revised) INSTALL BCM - uninstall BCM - install BCM - still no BCM

An Addendum - 10 minutes later)
I just went into the DATA FILE MANAGEMENT setting on OLK (outlook) and added
BCM. Like before - it installs it but there is NO TOOLBAR so I cannot
restore - move - or add contact to my old BCM contact database. (from a
previous version of outlook). SO - my problems are reduced to ADDING THE BCM
TOOLBAR to the top of my OUTLOOK 2003 window.
I have the OUTLOOK CONNECTOR showing but no BCM. thanx again - in advance -

3.INSTALL BCM - uninstall BCM - install BCM - still no BCM

HI - whew - please help me get my OUTLOOK w/bcm to show my BC's again.

I excitedly have the fat 2 disk set of OFFICE SBM 2006. It works but for the
BCM (the second most important part after email). In increasingly desperate
attempts to get it to function correctly, I read and did most of what was
suggested here in this forum. I put in CD ONE to put in OUTLOOK, put in CD 2
to added BCM (and accounting) and after several attempts of install and
un-install and re-install I got it to work - BUT with NO TOOLBAR. sigh... 2
days full of frustrating hours I have NO BCM, NO TOOLBAR and NO MORE CLUES as
to what to do.

PULEEEEZE TEAM MS - help me get back to work here.
FEEDBACK CLUES: The registry (as in another post) says: REGDWORD (3) and
I've done ALL of the updates. BIG CLUE - I also re-installed WINXP (pro) and
noticed it added me (log in name) twice, once as DRIX (primary) and NOW I'm
DRIX.millhouse (my network) with my other programs still listed there but w/o
functionality to them. (sigh again...) PULEEEZE help me kidz - im losing
time - patience - AND the names/numbers to MY CLIENTS!!!!!!! (yikes!)
THANX - I'll be here waiting for your holy words of cure.

4.Outlook 2007 - BCM - Create Contact from existing company?

Hello, I was just wondering if there is a way to create a contact from an
existing company in the Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager. Outlook 2003
BCM had it and it was great time saver. Adding all of my business cards from
trips now is almost unbearable as I have to enter all of the information
manually each and every time.

Any replacements for this? Is it just really hidden or just a missing feature?

Thanks for any advice.
