1.Outlook 2003 data exchange with ACT 2005
Loaded SQL based ACT 7.0 2005 and did dual data exchange with Outlook 2003 utilizing ACT. Outlook data is gone. ACT has calendar info. Outlook contacts are gone. ACT did not import them as the sync was only to affect calendar. Have backups but want to share information between programs. Clues? New to ACT 7.0 as this is first version with SQL DB. Is very demanding on resources. PC is a P4 at 3 Ghz w/1GB DIMM RAM and 80GB Hard. System is loaded heavy with popular business apps, no games, typical utilities and highly regarded freeware such as Spybot and Ad-Aware.
2.How am I supposed to IMPORT ACT 5.0/2005 data into Outlook 2003 C.
I am attempting to IMPORT Act 5.0/2005 data into Outlook Business Contact Manager. However, the WIZARD is telling me I don't have ACT installed! I have had it installed for 8 months and use it daily! How do I get it to recognize Act 5.0?
3.Migration from ACT 8.0 or ACT 2005 to Business Contact Mgr 2003
4.import ACT 2005 data into Outlook Business Contact ?
Is anyone aware of a method to import ACT 2005 data files into Outlook 2003 business contact mngr. The import wizard is looking for a .DBF and Act 2005 extensions are .pad and .ADF
5.import all data from Act! 2005
I am using Act! 2005 right now and can not take it any more. I downloaded all the updates but still too slow. It is so slow that it is almost useless, especially if I am talking to a customer on the phone and trying to get up their info. Just installing it slowed my computer down to a crawl. I don't have a barn burner for a laptop, but works great for everything else but Act!. I installed Act! on one of my desktops just to see if a faster computer would work better, but it is still a slow program. I don't know how anyone can use this program unless they have the latest hardware, which most offices don't have. Is there a way to import all of my Act! calendar info and contacts into Outlook? What would happen to all my notes that I entered under details with each appointment?
