I probably have a basic question, but still need to know the answer: I have two users on my laptop. User #1 and user #2 are currently using 2003 BCM. I am about to download the free trial of Office 2007 primarily to check out BCM 2007 for user #1. However, I see a note warning current BCM 2003 users that they will need to uninstall BCM 2003 and this has me worried...both for user #1's existing BCM data but especially for user #2's existing BCM data. If I go through with this, can someone assure me not to worry and/or give me the solution? Can user #1 try out 2007 and user #2 still use 2003? And if I chicken out, can user #1 go back to 2003 without issue? Thanks for your help.

  • 4. Business Contact Manager Questions
I have some pretty basic questions about Business Contact Manager and haven't been very successful finding info online. 1. Can I put a particular client on a predefined marketing campaign that will: a. Automatically remind me of needed tasks based on a predefined timeline (start +1 day, +4 days, etc.) b. Automatically send marketing emails from predefined templates to clients on market campaigns c. Let me print and send marketing material from predefined templates via mail 2. Can I create predefined checklists of tasks required to service a client and apply them to a client? Can someone point me to some detailed info on this product? I am a Realtor currently using Top Producer. While I like the concept and theory behind Top Producer, I'm less than impressed with the execution. Thanks for any help you can give me! Postby VGluYSBNLg » Tue, 04 Apr 2006 18:16:02 GMT

I am trying to set up group contacts in Microsoft Business Office.
I finally was able to create a name for the group, such as "Media", but I am
unable tro input addresses.
I would like to set these up so that I can send for press releases and
meetings and such.

Thanks for the fast reply. Realizing now that follow up reminders don't work
with BCN, is there a way to identify the contacts that have a Due by date
along with the Follow up flag?

Thanks in advance.

2.Pop ups while doing send-receive

2 problems actually:
1) My MS Outlook doesn't do an automatic send-receive every time I start it
2) Every time I hit send-receive, I get a pop up prompting me to re-enter my
ID and password... need to avoid that

Kyle,

From your Outlook enable your addins one by one after the BCM add in is
enabled. This worked for me.

From Outlook - Help > About > Disabled Items

I hope this helps

5.Outlook 2003/Business Contact Manager/Getting Things Done Add-in

I am looking for a solution for two business partners who want to use Outlook
as a CRM. I have the GTD add-in and when I installed the BCM, none of my
add-ins would work and Outlook wanted to disable all of them.

I restored my system to before the installation. Is it possible to have
these add-ins and BM?

Is it possible to use Outlook and achieve the same *report* results as you
would get using ACT! - a top-level report of all of the clients and their
status, activities, notes, etc?
