I have created a Business Project, which contains 36 or so individual Project Tasks, each with its own completion level, ranging from 4% to 100% (complete). However, the completion level for the Business Project still displays 0% completion. Is there a way to get it to calculate an overall completion level, based upon the completion levels of the associated tasks?
  • 2. Outlook Unable to open
here is the exact message I get when I try to open Outlook: cannot start microsoft office outlook. cannot open the outlook window. the set of folders cannot be opened. errors have been detected in the file c:\documents and settings\darren casper\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst. quit outlook and all mail-enabled applications, and then use the inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) to diagnose adn repair errors in the file. for more information about the inbox repair tool, see help. after i ran this file (scanpst.exe) another error came and said this application has failed to start because scnpst32.dll was not found. re installing the application may fix this problem. I had just reinstalled Office 2007 before i did these. What can I do to fix these corrupted files?
  • 3. BCM Admin Tool on a Windows 2008 x64 Server running SQL 2008
I can't find any documentation that will support this.so I'm just curious as to whether anyone has accomplished this before I attempt myself. I'm sure there are others out there wondering the same or perhaps may have even attempted this. I know I can run the admin tool with SQL 2005 x64. Thanks.

Kyle,

From your Outlook enable your addins one by one after the BCM add in is
enabled. This worked for me.

From Outlook - Help > About > Disabled Items

I hope this helps

I am looking for a solution for two business partners who want to use Outlook
as a CRM. I have the GTD add-in and when I installed the BCM, none of my
add-ins would work and Outlook wanted to disable all of them.

I restored my system to before the installation. Is it possible to have
these add-ins and BM?

Is it possible to use Outlook and achieve the same *report* results as you
would get using ACT! - a top-level report of all of the clients and their
status, activities, notes, etc?

4.Add contact to Business Contacts in Business Contact Manager f

If the manual way of doing it that Monica describes does suit your needs,
there is a quick way to add a Business Contact from an e-mail. Especially if
you want to add many at a time, in a few clicks. The method is a little
obscure, but here is how:

1. In your inbox's list of incoming (or any other) mails, right click the
e-mail.
2. Then select "E-mail Auto-link".
3. A dialog box pops up with all of the addresses in the mail.
4. The ones that you currently do not have a Business Contact for have
"unknown" in the column.
5. Select the one(s) you want to make into Business Contacts and click OK
6. The Business Contact has been added, and will have its e-mail autolinked
as well (which can then be turned off again if you don't want it).
7. Now fill in the rest of the Business Contact information as appropriate,
as Full Name and e-mail address are already populated in the Business Contact.

Thanks for your interest in Business Contact Manager for Outlook.
