  • 1. BCM is No Longer Available in my Outlook Office 2007
As Murphy's Law would have it my Microsoft Office 2007 Small Business Edition support period in just over my 90 days. This morning I logged on to my Outlook and noticed that the Business Contact Manager was missing from my toolbar. I tried opening it from the left side bar and received the following message. "Business Contact Manager for Outlook could no complete your last action. Please Try Again". I have searched the Internet and noted that there are a lot more customer than I that are having the same issue. Hoping I would be able to find someone from Microsoft or partner who could provide a solution. I just tried the Repair with my dsks and still the same issue. SQL Servers are new to me so I need to crawl, walk and then run with this problem.
  • 2. How to Link MS ACCESS 2007 to BCM
Please HELP. I am intersted in using MS ACCESS 2007 to write a few simple oppoprtunuity reports that are not available in BCM integrated with Outlook 2007. I haven't a clue how to set up SQL Server to access the data within Access 2007, but have had moderate experience writing Access 2000 programs. I have "found" the files but havent a clue how to link. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance. Rick
  • 3. Office Accounting 2007 Error-Integration Business Contacts
Once "successfully" integrating the BCM with Office Accounting Professional 2007, we receive the following error message. "The followoing database error occurred: Conversion failed when converting datetime from character string." when entering Customers. I have changed the Regional Settings in the computer to the USA and the message remains with this particular data base. Any solutions.
  • 4. Business Contact Manager - Viewing shared contact information
I recently installed business contact manager and am having trouble viewing information gloabaly across multiple users accessing the same shared database. How do I enter information so that everyone can see it? I am a user, not the administrator of the database. Please advise. Thank you, -- Amy

This request was repeated too many times. I am making a screencast video on
how to do it tonight even if it'll take me 4 hours to do right.

I've also sent an e-mail to my contact at Microsoft outlining a few common
issues. Request for official support for SBS 2003 was on that list.

Hi Leonid,

Did you happen to make any progress on this? I'm very much interested
in figuring out how to host the BCM database on SBS 2k3.

Thanks,
Kevin

How did you do that?
I'm using MS document called: Deploying Outlook 2007 with Business Contact
Manager in a remote database configuration
But with no luck :(

Still can't connect to remote SQL
Wanted to use already deployed SQL2005 :(

I've been able to do it, but it's not exactly straightforward. I've put some
hints at
