I'm trying to export my Outlook 2002 contacts to excel so I can upload a mailing list. I get error messages trying to export either to excel or access. One message says to install translators from the ValuPack, which I don't seem to have amongst all the dell provided CD-ROMs. I found some downloads from Microsofts site for Outlook 1997, but not 2002. Any suggestions or insights? Thanks.

I use Outlook 2003 and BCM. I have business contacts. For example-->A, B, C Open A contact Under "Business Contacts" section, click "Add | Select Contact" Choose C contact in the "Select Business Contacts to link to this account" window Open B contact Under "Business Contacts" section, click "Add | Select Contact" At this point, I cannot see C contact in the "Select Business Contacts to link to this account" window. So I have to recreate same contact. How can I add same contact more than once in "business contacts" section of account without recreating. Thanks and best regards. Sevgi

Installing BCM 2010 on Server and Custom Form Layouts

Postby Sm9lIEQ » Tue, 16 Mar 2010 23:40:01 GMT

We have installed BCM2010 locally on a laptop to check out the product and
have made some form modifications for leads, opportunities, etc. We would
like to install BCM database on a server for VPN access for a couple of our
sales reps. Can we do a database backup and then restore on the server to
maintain all form customizations?

I think you can, but I have yet to test it.

Yes, you can, and although people have been able to make VPN work, it
requires some work.
Microsoft does not formally support sharing BCM over the VPN, so you
will have to rely on the web on this one.

1.Connecting to BCM 2010 Shared DB on SBS 08 Server

Hi,
I am trying to upgrade the BCM from 2007 and have he following issue.
The tool works fine creates the DB, restores the 2007 data an upgrades the
schema.
The uisers have been given access.

However the SQL Express 2008 shows a region on US English and the clients
are UK(British) English. So the connect database is gryed out as the error
message indicates cannot connect to data with a different region.

I have tried changing the database language to British but the clients still
cannot connect to the server to use BCM 2010 data.

How can this be resolved as this did not happen with 2007. I am using teh
full release versions.
