2.POP3 ansSMTP server time outs using Office 2003 Outlook
Hi,
My ISP reckons this is a known Outlook bug that should be fixed by office
Service Pack 3, but after a week of frustration, and doing what I am told, I
still get the following errors, 0x800CCC15, 0x8004210A, 0x8004210B. The Big
Pond webmail seems to work fine and all the e-mail account settings were
checked with the their technical support. I applies the registry change
recommended in the particular hotfix, but that made no difference. It was
working fine until a week ago, although it would send multiple copies of
300kb e-mails to addressees. The sending seemed to fail before the receiving.
3.time outs occurred when checking email through outlook 2003
I am using the trial version of office 2003 before I make a purchase and I
continually have to keep having my email rebooted through "send and receive"
because I keep having a time out occure and it happens not only every time I
check my email through outlook 2003 but more than once.
What can I do for this before I decide to purchase it?
4.MAPI Received Time 1 Hour Earlier Than Outlook 2003 Received Time
Can anyone help. I am using VB 6 and MAPI to get email information from a
mailbox open in outlook 2003. The received time in outlook is for instance
13:10. This is displayed in the inbox. But the received time using MAPI is
always 1 hour earlier, for instance 12:10. Why? The time being displayed by
outlook is the correct time. Can this time be got at through the MAPI
interface?
5.1) Sending mail messages FROM outlook 2003 / 2) time sent/received
1) I have a number of differenct e-mail accounts. Irrespective of the one I
choose in the account list, all messages go out using the 'default account',
even when it is a reply message which came in via a different account.
2) the time received stamp indicates received time as being exactly 30'
earlier than sent (eg sent at 10.00 hrs, received at 0930 hrs)
Using Microsoft Office 2003, XP home, SP2 installed, and "outgoing server
authentication set to : use same settings as incoming mail server'
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me solve this annoying problem
