Sending one email, get multiple sent items

Postby alen.voorhees » Sat, 24 Sep 2005 22:35:01 GMT

I have a user,using Outlook 2003 on Exchange 2003. Sporadically he
will reply to an email to an external person, and it will spawn
multiple sent items. Just recently, one sent item is the actual email
that he sent, and the others (5) appear identically in sent items
without his reply...all are sent at the same time.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

1.Not getting emails from group but gets them if sent by one person

User is able to get emails when sent by one person, but when she is sent a

2.Sent email not getting transfered to Sent Items folder

I am using Outlook 2000 and at a certain point emails that I've sent get
stuck in the Outbox folder and are not transferred to the Sent Items folder.

If I try to manually move a message to Sent Items I get an error that says
"Can't move the items."

When I delete some messages from the Sent Items folder then everything works
normally. So it looks like there is a limit to how much my Sent Items folder
can store and when it gets full my sent email is never transferred out of my
Outbox.

Is there a way to eliminate or increase the limit of how many messages can
be stored in the Sent Items folder, or is this a hard limit?

Thanks in advance.

3.Outlook calendar appointment sent to one gets sent to 'everyone'

Hi,

Seems that when I schedule a calendar event that has the name of one
specific attendee in it, everyone else in the organization receives
notice of that event. For example, I was scheduling a meeting that
included two individuals (employee A & B). The next think I know,
employee C, D, E, F, G, ..... received the same notice. Just happens
when I include employee A in the schedule. Any ideas? Thanks.

many times when i send e-mails, the message gets sent multiple times. I only
send it one time. Why is it being sent multiple times to the recepient? I
don't think this happens every time I send an e-mail, but it happens quite
often.
