  • 1. Contacts Address Book in Rules & Alerts
    In making a new rule, when select the "from field" you can click on it, And a window pops up where you can select a contacts, from different files There a drop window bar, that shows address book to choose from. I have one book for Newsgroups and TWO book "named" contact One is link to my contact folder, and other one is not, I get a error message, That it has been moved or deleted.etc, when I select that one. WHERE, can one edit this (drop down) menu and removed this outdated Contact reference. Richard
  • 2. Quick Parts Font
    Hi. I'm utilizing the Quick Parts feature but for some reason the first line of any quick part I use is not stored. So for example the first line is in the body font (Calibri) when I save the quick part but when I go back to use it for some reason the first line is changed to Times New Roman. Any ideas why or how to fix?

    when a email is opened and then the close button is selected, the email disappears
  • 4. E-mail signatu problem with tables
    I have created an e-mail signature using a table to control the layout and formatting. This is fine until I reply or forward a message, as the signature then joins to the message I am trying to forward/reply to. I have gone into Advanced Edit > Table > Table Properties and set the text wrapping to 'None', which seems to work. However, when I make any edits to the signature it resets the table wrapping back to 'around', so that I get the problem repeated. Any ideas?

Fresh installed WinXP and Office XP onto a new hard drive, found my
inbox messages (file outlook.pst) on my now slaved old hard drive.
Copy Pasted that file over the new one and started outlook. some error
came up about the pst file moving and when outlook finally started I
had my Inbox messages but not the folders I had organized old messages
into or the old messages. Was wondering if they were located somewhere
else and if so where?

by adding that button to the Outlook Bar. Instead, you 
need to click the little icon that Folder List in one of 
the toolbars, or from the View menu, choose Folder List.

Voila! All your pre-made mailboxes (and other personal 
folders) will show up, right NEXT to (to the right of) 
your Outlook Shortcut Bar.

1.Outlook XP. not seeing contacts others put in public folders 

We have Outlook on the server.  We all enter into public folders and then it 
automatically sychronizes .  However, I am having problems with one computer 
not being able to see the new information. Specifically, we have a folder 
called homeowners.  When we enter in the homeowners contact information this 
coomputer cannot see it.  They have Outlook XP.  They do not have the 
"Sychronize with workgroup" option on "Tools".

I uninstalled my old version of office and installed the ms office 2007 as 
admin. It works fine for me but when others try to use it on the same 
computer it locks up. Word will not allow them to type for example. I 
uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing has happened. any idea's how 
to fix this. I received it at the ms launch 2007.

3.Outlook not finding inbox or default folders. 

I am having outlook give me an error everytime I try to get any default 
folder.  It just gives out and says the operation failed.  It will work 
sometimes, but not others.  It usually breaks on the service account that 
runs it through SQL server.  Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

4.Office XP not finding Office 97 SBE 

I have purchased a new computer and am reinstalling my Office. I reinstalled 
my Office 97 SBE but XP says there is no qualifing software. The box says the 
Office 97 SBE is okay so why won't it install?

5.Outlook 2000 SP3 "Object Could not be found" and others 

Hi

Have a problem whereby an exchange client PC running Oulook 2000 SP3 get 
errors such as "Object Could not be found" and others whereby attachments are 
sent to the user, not all attachments have this problem.
Have re installed Office 2000 and SP3 also reset users profile and still no 
luck any thoughts
