  • 1. not a pst file!
Hi guys So glad i found this grooup. I have a problem thats been driving me crazy. I have a new computer that had Vista OS on it and i chnaged back to XP cause i disliked Vista. I had Outllok 2007 on the Vista and i burnt the pst file to a cd before i deleted Vista and installed XP. Then i re installed XP on the XP OS and am trying to re import/install the pst file from cd and Outlook keeps telling me its not a valid pst file. I have copied the file to the desktop, changed the attributes from read only, importing it, opening it, ran scanpst.exe (and it tells me its not a valid pst file). I'm now at my wits end. I even tried a program called Stellar Pheonix mailbox Pro and it says its not a pst file. I think it might be corrupted or something in the burning process and it contains some very important business emails etc. HELP!!! Thanks Wayne

How can I find and delete duplicate messages in Outlook 2007? Thanks Bruce
  • 3. Outlook dissapeared from MSOF07
I recently installed MSoFF07 on my HP Pavilion xp pro sp2...I installed Outlook because I could not get mail to send out of MS Word07....I was using OLE before but was told I had to use OL07...I installed it and now can not find the program any where...I found it in a drop down box from the start up list when I clicked on Off07 and a list of about six or seven programs came up...now OL is no longer on there and I can not find it any where on the computer... I am using Road Runner, and Yahoo Mail Plus to collect all my mail..another strange thing is that if I enclude myself in a message sent out of MS word07 it will only show up in my MSN Hotmail box...not on Yahoo or RR mail.... Any ideas, Thanks, Hilton

Adding email addresses to contacts contained within an email message

Postby Alan » Thu, 12 Feb 2004 22:31:29 GMT

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

Does anyone know of either a macro or utility that would update all email recipients contained in the body of an email message to the contacts?

TIA, Alan

1.Can't open highlighted link contained within an email message

When I receive an email and there is a link highlighted
within the email, I can't click on the link and have it
open. When I click on the link, nothing happens. Any
ideas?

2.Contacts only contain name but not email address

I've set all the company's name and email address in the contacts. But after
sometimes, I notice that the contacts only contain the company name. And I
click on to the company name, it does not contain email address inside. Pls
advice.

3.One contact name but contains many email address?

I want to make a single contact name but have multiple addresses under that
name. So say I type in 3M Industries when looking for a contact name. Then
once it's in the "To:" line and I click send it will send and email out to
say like 10 people under that name.

Can this be made or done in Outlook 2000? I know I could do this in Lotus
many years ago...I would hate to think MS can't do this.

Thanks,
Scott
