  • 1. Errors while sending emails
We are on a network and only one of our workstations (the owner's) is having this error. When creating a new email or replying with or without attachments, the error screen pops up that only says "some errors have occurred" There are no other details. The message sits in the outbox and will continue to send. Receipents get the message multiple times. The only way to stop it is to delete each message. It also does not show up in the sent folder. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a fix for this. Please help!! I need to get this fixed ASAP!!! Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
  • 2. Saving email attachments
Receive the following error message when selecting File, Save Attachments on an email with several files attached: File name is not valid
  • 3. Messages hang in outbox
I'm having the same/similar problem. I was just searching through recent posts to see if this is being addressed. The problems I am having are: 1. Messages without attachments are hanging in the outbox for an extended period of time; 2. Messages with attachments are hanging forever, and the only way I can delete them is to move them to Drafts and delete from there; 3. Often the message is sent but stays in italics in the Outbox. 4. If I pull up sending details, it shows sending task completed several times. 5. If the attachment is over 1MB, forget it, even though my ISP allows up to 8MB (and, incidentally, my business need is up to 8MB). AAarrrggghhh!! I am running Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Mgr on Win XP Pro (and starting to wish I wasn't). As a workaround, I have started to blind copy myself if I am sending out of Outlook and if I have an attachment, I am going out to my ISP's web mail and sending from there. Pain in the .....
  • 4. send/receive monitor not correct: disappears during down/uploading!!!
Since recently, Outlook XP indicates that the "send/receive action [is] complete" (in Outlook's right bottom bar) and subsequently disappears, while OUTLOOK IS STILL DOWN/UPLOADING!!! The send/receive monitor window also disappears. How can I repair this function? Office's Detect and Repair does not repair it. Wim Office XP SP3 Windows XP SP1 Laptop Internal modem 52 Kbps
  • 5. Outlook 2003: Notes
I am trying to find out how to print selected notes from my notes list on one page. If my note has more than 4 lines in the body, it does not print in its entirety (I will only get the 1st 4 lines. In other words, when I want to select several items to work on in 1 day and print all those items on one page, I have not figured out a way to do this -- I can print them on individual pages, but not on one sheet -- which is what I am attempting to do. Does anyone have a solution for this??

Which "New version" are you referring too?
Outlook 2007 is the latest version.

Question: Can I sell an old version of Office (say, XP) if I buy and install
a full (NOT an upgrade) version of Office 2003?

2.Access older version of Outlook after upgrading to a newer version

We upgraded from Outlook XP (2002) to Outlook 2007 about three months ago and
switched Exchange Service providers. We have a user now looking for a few
emails that were in the "Drafts" folder within the old version of Outlook.

The drafts folder itself was not exported as a .pst as was done with other
folders to be imported into the 2007 version.

Is it possible to access the old version of Outlook again with the hopes of
these messages still being in the "Drafts" folder or was the older version
erased/replaced upon upgrading to the new version of Outlook?

Thanks in advance!

4.move old outlook info to newer version on new cpu

I bought a new computer and cannot do a direct file transfer, how do I
transfer everything in my "old" Outlook to the newer version on the new
computer? I know it has something to do with IMPORT/EXPORT but I can't make
it happen.

5.compatibility of office 2007 with old version and mac version offi

Recently I installed office 2007 on my pc, windows xp. When I tried to open
an email attached old version excel files (from a mac user), the office 2007
could not be pumped up, instead, the windows installer wanted to install the
old version office which had been uninstalled by the installation of office
2007. So I had to open 2007 excel program first and then find the file and
open it (incompatible with mac version?). In order to avoid the conflict
between the old version and office 2007, I thought it would be better to
completely remove the old version. So I clicked contral panel "add or remove
program" . On the program list, i found the old version office xp still
there. but when I clicked the remove button, i was told "this patch package
could not be opened." (how can i completely remove the old version office xp?)
Thanks,
