I'm running Outlook 2003 as a stand alone program without a network. I can't print the address book. The address book menu does not offer any print options including those found in the Help and Support and the MS Knowledge Base. It also doesn't offer the option to export/import. What am I missing here? Operating Windows XP Home SP2, IE 6 SP2, Outlook 2003. Thanks for any suggestion -- Phil XXXX@XXXXX.COM
  • 2. Problems importing pst file
Upgraded system from Win 98 to 2000. Had Outlook 97 on old machine and backed up everything in a pst file using the Import/Export wizard. When I try importing the pst into Outlook 2000, I get two errors. First error is "Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use" Hit OK...second error says that my file is not a personal folders file. Tried Inbox Repair tool...its runs through it, but doesn't seems to have any info in the file when it's done....even though the file size is over 60MB. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  • 3. MAPI problems
I get the following message when I hit reply (as opposed to reply group) in Outlook Express. Microsoft Outlook: Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfil the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client. I no longer wish to use Outlook as my default mail client. I wish to use Pegasus instead. How can I fix this? (I have also posted to comp.mail.pegasus-mail.ms-windows ) Richard

click here to enable instant search

Postby exciter » Tue, 05 Feb 2008 19:45:32 GMT

I have outlook 2007 and there is always a bar standing saying:
"click here to enable instant search"

I click on it and it asks me to install desktop search.
To get rid of the message I did so but I could not install everything about
desktop search.
So I still have this stupid message there, always.

How can i get rid of it without installing the desktip search
?

1."Click here to enable Instant Search"

Finally took the plunge and traded in Office XP (2002) for Office 2007.

I really like the new (to me) Outlook 2007 and I have a question: The Inbox has this yellow bar with the message "Click here to enable Instant Search". I'm really not interested in Instant Search and I have not installed that component. Can I get rid of the yellow bar? I'd rather not be 'nagged' about Instant Search.

Thanks for your help.

3.Click Here to enable instant search

Hello

I am testing Office 2007 before rolling it out. In Outlook there is a box
that says Click Here to Enable Instant Search. Is there any way I can disable
this feature for the time being as users are not as a rule allowed to
download and install software.

Thanks in advance.
