When I type the first couple letter in the TO field in outlook it displays a list of users in my contacts whose names match. Recently, a couple of name have appeared who are NOT in my contacts and I do not recognise. I've performed a search of all my emails to see if the names exist in any emails that have been forwarded to me but with no success. I have checked my machine for viruses but it appears to be clean. I am using outlook XP. Has anybody any ideas? - 3. back up messages

I'd like to back up all my Outlook 2000 SP-3 files: e-mail files/folders; calendar, contacts, and so forth to my 60 GB backup disk. I'd also like to copy all files to CD-RW drive on occassion to protect against total system failure. How do I go about this? I don't know which folder and file names Outlook uses. All, I'm looking for the ability to export the mails from a mail folder not only including fields like TO/CC/Subject... but also the received Timestamp. Is this somehow possible? Thanks Karsten

Hi, Not long ago I changed my signature in Outlook 2003. I noticed that now, each time I create a new email, the new signature is added, but when I reply or forward, the old signature is added. I went to Tools\Options\Mail Format\Signatures, and there I have only one signature defined, both under new and under replies\forward. How could this be? Where exactly is Outlook keeping these signatures, and how could it be that it kept the old signature?
