I recently had my computer overhauled and the tech installed a newer version of Windows XP Home Edition than the one I previously had. In the older edition my Contacts list was stored in the file "Windows/outlook.pst" which I copied to a Zip disc as a backup. This .pst file does not exist on this newer version. Does anyone know where the Contacts are stored?

Hi Is it possible to leave outlook express running in the background without it appearing in the task bar? (Rather more like in the Notifcations area like MSN Messenger when you hit the (X) to "close" it). It really would be nicer if Outlook Express would not close but also not take up the Taskbar space. thanks

Email Signature: Not appearing correctly...

Hello,

I am attempting to make an e-mail signature for my e-mails and it's not doing exactly what I want it to do. I am currently using Outlook 2000. (Incase you'll need to know that.)

I have went into the e-mail signature section where you can edit your signature. Well I hit a button called, "Advanced Edit". Then it opens up my signature in Word. And I basically edit it as I would any other Word Doc.

My problem is this, I don't want my e-mail signature to just be plain boring text. So I figured I'd give it a little life and make it appear as a business car. I created a table. 1 Row. 2 Columns. The left column contains the company logo, while the right side contains my contact information.

It looks great when I'm editing it in Word. But as soon as I open an e-mail up and see the signature, it's ruined. The table is there including the logo, but on the right column, instead of all my contact information sitting inside of it, it's flooding out of the column like it's a continuous sentance, when it's actually not.

Am I doing something wrong? I'd appreciate any feedback.

Thank you,
Jay Gustafson

2.Signatures Not Appearing correctly in email

Hey all,

This should be an easy one for ya pro's :D

I've created a signature for one client in MS outlook and when looking at
the signature in the signature creation window it looks fine. I also
checked the 3 files in Application data\MS\Signatures all three files
looked normal.. It's a simple black text and no line spacing.
However when a new email is generated, the text becomes a cream color and
the signature becomes double spaced.

I'm stumped!

Thanks in advance for any help :)

3.email signature does not appear correctly

My logo in my email signature does appear. The signature has been created
with word editor by following the steps mentionned in Help menu. All the text
appears but the logo (.jpg format) doesn't. I use Outlook 2003.

4.New email messages not appearing in inbox correctly

Am using Outlook Office Ultimate 2007. About a week ago, I noticed that
although I receive new email (the send/receive progress is visible in the
toolbar at the bottom of the screen), the new messages no longer appear in my
inbox until I either close and restart Outlook or open a folder then go back
to my inbox. Any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it?

5.Signatures not appearing correctly

Hi, I'm having trouble with my signature in outlook. When
I send a message the signature appears fine, but when
someone replies to it, I get the message and a bunch of
extra line breaks appear in it. I've tried deleting the
signature and recreating it in the both the standard and
advanced editors(frontpage) and it does the same thing.
Any help would be appreciated.
