  • 1. IMAP sent items RULE bug (post-SP 2)
I recently updated to SP2 and was using the newly fixed rule bug applying to sent items on an IMAP account when I realized that this rule will ONLY work IF the account is set as default. This wouldn't be microsoft tapping me on the shoulder and whispering (again) "buy exchange, buy exchange", would it? :) Anyone have a solution for this one?

  • 3. downloading mails automatically
Since this is the first time I'm using Outlook, I have a very basic question. I use Outlook to download onto my HD emails I receive on my Hotmail account. When I Send/Receive mails on Outlook, they are not actually downloaded; I have to click on each mail, mark them for down loading, and connect again, and then they download. I cannot delete emails until I click on each of them to mark them to be downloaded, and then connect to Send/Receive again (otherwise they just tell me that it is not downloaded fully, and if I'd like to mark them to be downloaded). Clicking on each mail gets quite time consuming when there are many mails. How do I get it to download automatically? Thank you!
  • 4. reading Japanese mails from hotmail
I use Outlook to download and store in my HD the mails that come to my hotmail account. I can read mails in Japanese in Hotmail (on internet), but when it is downloaded to Outlook, I cannot read many of them. I can write and read Japanese in other software. FYI, I have Windows XP and Outlook 2003 (and a Toshiba computer all bought in US). How can I read these Japanese emails? Thanks!

I am experiencing random inbox errors that result in my
Mail file / inbox not being accessible and am required to
run the inbox repair tool to fix the file.

I have repaired the inbox multiple times. The error
occurs randomly over a period of several days/weeks.
During the repair no errors are found on the file.

I have checked for IO errors on all my hardware. My
Outlook PST file is the only file that is having
corruption issues.

The PC is a Dell Dimension with 12GB of Free Space running
Windows ME with Office XP.

Please contact me if you have any suggestions.

Thanks In Advance. Tony XXXX@XXXXX.COM

I just received an e-mail saying "you wont find a better deal", and offering "extremely cheap high-quality software" includding Windows XP Professional 2002 for $50 and Microsoft Office XP Professional 2002 for $60. How can that be when I know that genuine Microsoft software is worth much more
