I want to change my new appointment busy/free default from busy to free
I want to change my new appointment busy/free default from busy to free
1.Unable to save free/busy information, Unable to open free/busy
Publish 2 months free/busy information on the Server. Update free/busy information on the server every 15 minutes. I don't know why this is here. I have never shared my calendar except with my pda. Thanks for looking into this. 2.Busy Time Events Change to Free Time
I have two recurring all-day events on my calendar in OL2003. The events occur for four straight days every other week (basically my work schedule - I work Tues to Fri one week and Wed to Sat the next). In the options for the series, I set up the time to be marked as Busy, so that it will show up on monthly views of the calendar as a day containing an event. I do synch my calendar with ActiveSync to an IPAQ and back to another computer running OL2007. For some reason though, these two recurring events frequently lose their Busy status and revert back to Free. I do not change the status at any time on either PC or my PocketPC. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Is there something I am doing that inadvertently changes the Busy status? Thanks, Merg -- Today's problems don't worry me, I haven't solved yesterday's yet.
3.Default Free/Busy Calendar time
I put a GPO in a few months ago to change the default free/busy time in outlook so that some of the Administrative Assistants could schedule things on their boss's calendars up to 4 months in advance. Since the time change/DST this gpo has stopped working. Has anyone seen this? The users haven't moved OU's, they haven't been upgraded, the GPO hasn't changed. If I'm posting this in the wrong group can someone point me the right way?
4.'Free Time' changes to Busy on other user's caledar
Using Outlook 2000 with Oracle server (not Exchange).... I am creating a 3 day 'all day event' appointment in my calendar and setting the time as 'free'. When I invite someone to the appointment so that they will have that on their calendar as well, the time switches to 'busy' on that person's calendar. If I invite a user to a single 'all day event' with the time set as 'free', the appointment shows correctly on their calendar and stays as 'free'. In addition, if that person tries to change the time on their calendar from 'busy' to 'free', Outlook says that it is sending a response to the creator that they made a change, but the time still will not change to 'free' on their calendar.
How can I change my free/busy time in Outlook to show that I'm not available after 4PM. Normal office hours are 8 to 5, but I leave at 4. I'd like to show that I'm not available from 4 to 5. I've had to set up a recurring meeting from 4 to 5 that has me out of the office. But, there should be an easier way to do this.
6. Appointments not shown, but on the free busy tab, it says busy
7. Tentative always shows up as Busy when publishing Free/Busy to a file share
