how do I change the color on incoming e-mails

Postby Q29tbmlnaHQ » Wed, 15 Aug 2007 02:58:07 GMT

I once changed the color on my incoming e-mails. I would assign a color to
each of my co-workers to separate them in my e-mail box but I can't seem to
remember how to do it.
Does anyone know?

Conditional Formatting is what caused that. Go to the Tools menu > Organize
 > Using Colors

1.Change Color ALL Incoming e-mails

I am running Outlook2003 SP1. All I would like to do is automatically
chnage the color of unread e-mails regardless of the source. I have
tried the customizing as follows when I am in the inbox: View>Arrange
By>Current View>Customize Current>Automatic Formatting; I check "all
unread messages" and set a font. It works on roughly 50% of the
messages. I can see no pattern in the messages that get formatted vs
those that don't. Does anyone have a thought on how I could get this
done. It worked perfectly in my previous version.

4.Can't change colors of e-mails when "Using colors" to organize

While the Organize pane is open, click on the Automatic Formatting link at
the top right, and examine each of the color rules separately. See if you
can figure out which ones might be conflicting with others.

5.Using Rules, How can I Highlight or change text color of incoming

I thought I used to be able to highlight incoming messages in differant
colors based on rules. This was musch more visible than colered exclamation
points when trying to delineate customer accounts. Is this ability still
available? I have been unable to figure out how to configure rules to apply
text color or highlights.
Thanks in advance,
Sam Wallace
