Hello all! We are running Exchange/Outlook 2003 sp2 (SBS) and hope to find a solution to simplify the viewing and use of a Public Contacts folder that we are using. What we would like to do is create a sub folder in Outlook under Contacts that links to our Public Contacts folder. Is it possible to do this without copying the contents of the Public folder into the local Outlook profile? Our main goal is to make accessing the Public Contacts folder as easy as possible and eliminate multiple copies of the Public folder. (Our CEO gets confused when he updates an address in one list and then accesses another copy of the list and finds the old contact information. Go figure!) Please let me know if you need additional information. Thanks in advance for your help.

I am new to Outlook and am using 2007. I previously used Palm Dekstop and ACT!. My wife and I share the same e-mail address but have different contacts. I want to accomplish 2 things. 1) create seperate address books, one for her and one for me. 2) Be able to Sync my address book only to my palm pilot. Right now when I sync Outlook 2007 is only syncing the contacts folder and not mine. So, I am having to copy all the contacts from my folder into the Contacts folder, then do a hot Sync. This is a recurring situation on 2 contact records we have in (different) public folders. When we try to save a document (eg email with attachment) to the contact record in the Public Folder, the system won't allow you to, and asks if you want to save to the default folder instead. Reason: When I make a new contact in the "Contacts in Personal Folder" I am able to pull up the contact through the "Select Names" window under the Contacts dropdown, but am not able to synchronize with my Palm device.
