I have tried nesting and it worked before but doesn't now - I saw your suggestion about using a mail merge - I can create and save a mail merge but how do you make sure that you have the most recent data witout starting from scratch each time? I find that an Outlook distribution list can only hold about 25-30 addresses. What is the easiest way to handle a large (about 350) emailing.
  • 3. Why can't I send a message to someone in my Personal Address Book.
I am currently getting my email in Outlook via Army Knowledge Online. I have added email addresses to my Personal Address Book, as well as my Contacts list. When I try to compose a new message, the Contacts list doesn't come up, just the PAB. However, when I address a message to someone in the PAB, the message will not be sent. I instantly get a message back that says the email could not be sent because " None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient." What does this mean? How do I get the same listing of addresses in the PAB and Contacts? And how can I send a message to someone in my PAB?
  • 4. What is "All Contacts" in the address list
We are using Outlook 2003 on Exchange 2003. When addressing an email, I choose "Contacts" for my personal addresses. What is "All Contacts" in the address book list? Mine is empty. However, the person I'm sitting next to has some various email addresses in his "All Contacts" list as well as his "Contacts" which he maintains regularly. This person states that he has emailed these people in the "All Contacts" in the past but not recently. Thanks so much!

1.auto-populating the company name field when creating a new contact

I've been manually creating several new contacts all from the same company
and it's a bit tedious. Is there a way to use/create a drop down menu box to
help populate some of the various fields such as the Company name field or
others?

I've been copying/pasting the company name from a newly made contact to the
nxt new one I'm making.

2.Create New Contact from Same Company in BCM?

I am a recent newcomer to Outlook 2007 and Business Contact Manager (BCM).

While working with my "Contacts" I am able to create a new contact from the
same company as one of my exisiting contacts. This is simply done by
selecting the existing Contact, and then selecting "Actions", followed by
"New contact from same company".

I can't figure out how to do the same thing within BCM. Any suggestions?

3.Creating new contacts also creates contacts in Outlook

Hi,

I have a question regarding contacts.

I have created a client contact in CRM and when going into my personal
contacts in Outlook (My Contacts), the new client contact has been
saved in My Contacts area along with my existing personal contacts.

Is there a way of preventing the new contact from being saved amongst
my personal contacts, or is this how CRM behaves?

Thanks,
Natalie.

5.Create new conatct from same company - Operation failed

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2007, XP Pro SP3. It appears the "Create new contact
from same company" function has ceased working. I get the "Operation failed"
pop up when trying to use this function. Have run the scanpst program on the
database as well as the Office diagnostics tool. Neither show a problem.
Have restarted and rebooted. Same problem. Did the XP Service pack 3 perhaps
disable this function within Outlook?

Thanks in advance!

Geoff
