The chances are that it is the Blackberry sync service marking them read. If not that, then some other add in, such as an antispam or -virus application. -- Brian Tillman -- Brian Tillman
  • 3. Mystery messages in Outbox
I retrieve my work email at home from a seperate POP3 mailbox. I download headers only so i can only retrieve messages i need. If i delete a message where someone has requested a receipt, and message gets sent back to them saying Message Not Read (or something along those lines). I cant seem to stop these messages being sent. I've now changed my outbound mailserver so it cant send emails and i have 10 messages waiting to be sent, but i cant see them in my outbox, so i cant delete them. The only reason i know they're there is because Outlook says Sending Message 1 of 10 in the status bar before it gives up and gives an error message. Any ideas how i can stop these messages being sent? I've disabled auto replies to requests and dont know what else to do. Thanks for any help

Never import from a PST. There's no need. However, you mention the NK2
file. That file doesn't cvontain any e-mail (only resolved addresses), so
that's your real goal?

Your question does not match your title.
Clarify your question. What does your NK2 file have to do with this?
The Help Files tell you how to migrate your Outlook data:

Your NK2 file is your autocmpletion cache.
