How can I print folder contents in Outlook 2003? To do it in previous versions you could add a shortcut to a hard drive folder to the Outlook Bar using the My Computer shortcut, and then print a list of the contents. I don't seee how to do this in Outlook 2003.
  • 2. Reply HTML messages to plain text by default
I would like to reply to HTML messages to plain text. Whenever, I try to reply to them, I see blue characters and my format preference is ignored. Is there any way to overcome this?
  • 3. Why do I keep receiving the same e-mails in my inbox?
I recently switched from using web based Sympatico to Outlook. Can someone help me fix this problem? Whenever I get a new e-mail, it keeps appearing in my Outlook inbox as a new unread message over and over until I go into my Sympatico webmail and delete it there. How do I get it so that deleting a message in Outlook deletes it from my account completely?
  • 4. What causes Outlook to shutdown whenever I minimize it?
About a month ago I noticed that when I minimize Outlook, the program completely shuts down. I've tried all I know to do short of completely reinstalling the program to correct this problem. I don't recall this occuring before I downloaded either a Windows or a Office 2003 Update but I don't recall which, I just do thime routinely. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this? Thanks.

Does anyone know if this is possible without reading 50 pages of information?

Have you tried this:
Try these:

Clear the forms cache
There are different methods that you can use to clear the Outlook forms
cache. Each method has advantages and disadvantages.
Method 1
Microsoft recommends that you use the Clear Cache method. To do this, follow
these steps:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
2. Click Advanced Options.
3. In the Advanced Options box, click Custom Forms.
4. In the Custom Forms box, click Manage Forms.
5. In the Forms Manager box, click Clear Cache.

Method 2
You can also rename the Frmcache.dat file. Do not do this as your first
attempt to resolve a problem with the forms cache because the Frmcache.dat
file may contain information about other forms. However, if your other
efforts to clear the forms cache have failed, you can rename the Frmcache.dat
file and then restart Outlook.

Many thanks for that Richard, you solved my problem. I had the added
complication of having a welsh language setting on my computer set up so I
had to translate all your instructions into welsh to enable me to continue.
If anyone needs to do this with Welsh Language settings i'm your man/woman.

Thanks again

Hi PA - I just redirected this to the BCM news group and took us out of it.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, PA Bear asked:

2.Outlook Business Contact Manager: Contacts vs. Business Contacts

3.Add contact to Business Contacts in Business Contact Manager f

If the manual way of doing it that Monica describes does suit your needs,
there is a quick way to add a Business Contact from an e-mail. Especially if
you want to add many at a time, in a few clicks. The method is a little
obscure, but here is how:

1. In your inbox's list of incoming (or any other) mails, right click the
e-mail.
2. Then select "E-mail Auto-link".
3. A dialog box pops up with all of the addresses in the mail.
4. The ones that you currently do not have a Business Contact for have
"unknown" in the column.
5. Select the one(s) you want to make into Business Contacts and click OK
6. The Business Contact has been added, and will have its e-mail autolinked
as well (which can then be turned off again if you don't want it).
7. Now fill in the rest of the Business Contact information as appropriate,
as Full Name and e-mail address are already populated in the Business Contact.

Thanks for your interest in Business Contact Manager for Outlook.
