  • 1. Another repeated password prompt issue with Outlook
I seem to periodically (every few months) run into this issue again, and the fix I used last time never works with the new issue. Here I go again. I am using Outlook 2007 with Windows XP. I can receive messages but cannot send, I am repeatedly prompted for my network password although my Outlook and my internet settings are set to remember it. I have followed all of the suggestions in the knowledge base article 290684, from creating a new Outlook profile to modifying the Protected Storage System Provider subkey in the registry, but the problem persists. I have also followed a previous posters advice and checked that my registry has all of the files it's supposed to in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders. Before I go bald from pulling out my hair, please help me if you can. Thanks!
  • 2. Restoring emails to POP server
Hi there, Does anyone know how to restore emails to the POP server? Im pretty desperate after using the Office Outlook for the first time and it deleting 1700 emails from my Yahoo inbox (including very sentimental emails from deceased friends and family which I have kept in my Yahoo account for years). I have them on my laptop but would really like them back on the server so I can access them anytime and anywhere again. I have put all the ones I want to restore in the same colour catagory but have no idea what to do now or if there is anything I can do. Please help if you can, Thanks, Rebecca
  • 3. Deleting Meeting Request Messages - Office 2007
Hi, I always accept meetings from the calendar, I just check the appointment, open it and accept it. But I realize that the meeting request is still on my email. If I open the meeting request and I accept the appointment from there, the meeting request is automatically deleted. So, I do not want to delete every time the meetings request I already accept from the calendar directly. I have been trying to create a search folder that allows me to filter the Meetings Request that I already accept, just to select them faster and delete it, but I do not know which field takes the information from the gray area that says if the meeting was already accept or not (for example this area describe something like ...accepted on date XXXX or conflicts with another appointment, etc). I understand that if I delete a meeting request already readed but not accepted, this action deletes the appointment on the calendar. Please your help to either the meetings request can be automatically deleted when I accept it from the calendar, or to identify the filters to create the search folder that allows me to delete de meetings request that match with the meetings already accepted from the calendar. Any comments recomendations, anything would help !!!! Thanks a lot.
  • 4. Sent attachments not received
I have a mailing list of about 48 people where I send a Word document (55 kb) as an attachment. The document was created in Word 2003 although I am now using Office 2007. Some of the recipients receive the attachment, others do not. There doesn't appear to be a common denominator (some using the same service provider receive the attachment - others do not). One recipient sent the following message back to me: "Sorry but no attachment again. When I right click on your message and select 'properties', 'details' and then 'message source' and scroll down it says 'X-MS-has attach: Yes'. So it thinks it has an attachment but it didn't arrive". I have tried sending emails with the attachment individually but it is still not received on the other end. Any suggestions?
  • 5. Outlook 2003's junk email filter not working properly
Some users are reporting problems with Outlook 2003's junk email filter not working properly. It ignores addresses on the blocked list and leaves them in the Inbox. Any help would be great. Michael

save emails from group email address into group email sent items

Postby SmVhbm5l » Wed, 02 Dec 2009 22:23:06 GMT

Is it possible to get emails that I send from a group/shared email address to
saved into the Sent Items folder for that group email? It saves the emails
but only in my personal Sent Items folder.

Tools-> Options-> E-mail Options...-> Advanced E-mail Options...-> In
folders other than the Inbox, save replies with original message

1.Save sent msg's from Group Mailbox into the Group Sent Items

At work we have a personal mailbox and a group mailbox for the team.

Presently we cannot seem to save emails that we are sending from the group
mailbox into the group mailbox's Sent Items... the messages are saved in our
personal mailbox's sent folder.

Yes we can drag the messages from our personal sent folder to the group sent
folder but this is a really high volume group mailbox and it is just not time
effective to be draging messages here and there. Is there a setting I can
change that will allow all messages sent from the group mailbox to be saved
in its corresponding sent folder? Or is there a rule I can set up to copy or
move them over automatically after sending?

Thanks

2.Emails saved in personal sent item folder instead of group mailbox

Can I have emails sent from group mailbox saved in the group mailbox sent
items folder instead of personal sent items folder? Currently, I send emails
using the from field and the emails are saved in my personal sent item folder
instead of the appropriate mailbox that I'm representing. I have to drag the
emails in my personal sent items folder to the appropriate mailbox.

Thanks!!

3.Send email to group WITHOUT recipients seeing who the email is addressed to

I need to send an email to 20 potential employees without each seeing
who ELSE it's addressed to. What is the correct way to do this (in
Outlook 2003 attached to Exchange Server 2003)?

4.send group email to all 3 email addresses?

That would depend on your Outlook version and mail support mode, which you
failed to post.
With current versions, you would simply add each email address to the
Distribution List.

5.Supress email addresses when sending group emails?

But the distribution list name in the Bcc: field and put yourself in the To:
field.

addresses in it. If I want to send an email to everyone in this group, I
simply type the group name into the To: field. When I do this and hit send,
it shows up everyone's names. Is there a way to just show the group name?
Thank you.
