  • 1. Old Email Gone? Help!
I was running Win 98 with Office XP. Win 98 crashed (Fatal OE Error). When I rebooted and restarted Outlook, all of my mail was gone but all of the folders were still there. I have checked for .pst files but all I find is one from last year (Jan 2003). I know that the individual mail messages are still on the HD but I can't find them. How do I go about finding the individual messages to restore them? I think I might be overlooking them somehow Thanks for any help

  • 4. sending emails as html pages (the solution)
Sorry for the simple question. The answer is very easy. It is possible to select the whole (for example, using edit-select all) html-page in MS front page and then paste the html-page into outlook. Not very professonial way to do the job but it works. However, just wondering how to embed images etc. into the html-page so that receivers can really see all pictures well. (just be sure u are using the Preview-display while selecting the html-page in Front page. (and html-format in Outlook) Better if MS finds a proper way to export html-code into MS outlook from Front page.

I am unwittingly sending an attachment gif each time I send a message.

to open, under the subject line.
I have double checked all my e-mail settings options, defaults, etc. When

5.sending messages with attachments takes longer than usual

Hy everyone, for the last couple of days i've being trying
to troubleshoot a problem on a windows 2000 network.
All the workstations seem to share the same problem,if
they send a message with a small attachment, there's no
problem but as soon as the size of the attach reaches
aproximately 400 Kbp,it takes an eternety to send the e-
mail and sometimes doesn't even send it.
I've being using a normal workastation winth win2000
server, and for the internet sharing i'm using wingate
(i've checked the settings on the wingate's firewall and
everything is set as default.)
So i would appreciate if anyone would give me a clue of
what if going on, 'cause i'm running out of options.

Thank you
