  • 1. XP Licensing Question
I currently have 2 computers, one has XP home on it (upgraded from 98) and the other has 98. I want to purchase an XP Pro upgrade and install it on the one that has XP home on it and move the XP home upgrade to the computer that currently has 98 on it. Is there any problem with this from a license perspective. I realize that i will get an activation error when I try to activate the XP home upgrade on the other machine but I hope that I can activate it manually after I explain things to microsoft. rich c *remove "nospam" if replying by email*

I have outlook 2000. I can't print pictures that are in emails that are sent to me. Where is the setting to allow printing of images in emails. All I get is the ghost outline where the image is on the email page. Help! Help! I'm going crazing searching through help files, search engines and news groups!

  • 5. Spell Command Not Available in Outlook Exp. for XP 64-bit
The knowledge base acknowledges that you get the message "An error occurred while the spelling was being checked." It tells why. But it gives no advice on how to heal. Does anyone have suggestions (other than backing down a version of Outlook)? Thanks, Dave

Whenever I click a link in Outlook, two brower windows
will open (unless an Internet Explorer window is already
open). Does anyone know how to correct this? Thanks!

1.I.E. 5.5 click link and open a new window

I.E. 5.5 on W2k, is there a way to click a link and have it open a new I.E.
window by default, without using the right click "open in a new window"

Doesn't matter to me but a user opened a ticket on it. After looking around
it appears that the right click method is the way it's supposed to work. He
said it used to work that way, a left click and it would open a new windows.
This was before the company was taken off Novell and onto AD, and everyone's
PC was reimaged. I don't know what version of I.E. he had previously.

Hi all,

I am using IE 6.0 & SP1.When i open a website & try to right click some
other references in the website using mouse right click "Open in New
Window".It is not opening the link it is referred to,whereas it got strucked
or hanged up.I tried re-installing the same IE 6.0 & also restoring to IE
5.0. When i restored back to IE5.0 the problem was solved, whereas after
upgrading to IE 6.0,the same problem persists.

4.Always open IE in a new window when clicking on a link in Outlook Express

I read here about a registry fix for this issue. Does anyone recall what it was? It sometimes works and other times doesn't. I'm hoping there is a fix so that it works at least 99% of the time. Thanks.
