  • 1. how can i change/hide my displayed address?
I am having trouble with trying to hide or change my email address when sending an email. The reason I need to change the displayed name is that my personal address (bruce_springsteen_lover) is also used to receive emails through my work. Much to my disgust, my boss has deemed this address as an unprofessional, and so I need to just show my name or something similar when sending an email. I am using Outlook 2002. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Ben Rollo

Hi, I'm looking for some help on the folowing subject. As a delegate of my chief, I make a meeting request from his calender. I invite some attendees including myself. when i sent teh meeting request I get a pop up screen with the folowing question: "Would you like to update your calendar." When I click "Yes" the appointment appears in my calendar, though all the other attendees can't see that I invited myself for this meeting. When they look on the scheduling tab, my name is not present on the list of attendees. when I look on my PC, my name is visible on the list of attendees? Who can help me with this. We use Exchange 2003 SP2 with Outlook client 2003 SP2 (dutch) -- bosje
  • 4. Outlook 2003 closes after a few seconds/minutes
Hi! Outlook 2003 on XP Pro (both english) with actual SPs. I start Outlook, it loads and after a half or one minute it closes without any warning or error message. Nothing in event viewer. If I start it again the file would be repaired automatically with Outlook mechanism. No Outlook process in TaskManager after close. I have one profile installed (Outlook). I had this error a few weeks ago (re-install or repiar didn't help) and made up a new profile with a new pst-file, moved all my mails/contacts etc. and it worked for a while, but this evening it happens again :-( Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!! -- Greetings Udo MCP / CCA

I'm setting up my new pc with msoffice 2003 and all my incoming messages are
displayed in my own fonts format. I want them displayed in the sender's
orginal font.
