  • 1. error on pst file
    I've got a user that has been using her pst file for while, now its not working she is getting an error message: Microsoft Office Outlook The file P:\Tammy Boaz Mail.pst is not a personal folders file. what do I need to do I've tried renaming still get the same error, I her pst to her desktop and relinking still getting the same error. need help thanks
  • 2. Multiple Profiles in Outlook 2007
    It seems like everywhere I read I find the answer that it can't be done. Scenario. I have a computer on a network with a generic login that multiple people use. Each user has a profile in Outlook and it is setup so that when you open up outlook it will request which profile. Once you select the profile you want it will request the username and password from our Exchange Server. The problem that I have is that for 5 of the 8 users, I can hit cancel on the password login and it will continue to open up outlook and you can see the user's emails. You cannot receive or send any email until you supply the password. For 3 of the 8, you can hit cancel on the password and a message will pop up stating that it cannot open the stored data and proceed to close Outlook. All profiles used to once do that, but now I have 5 for some reason that will allow any user to view other users email. How can I change it again so that all have them will not permit access to anyone unless you type the correct password? Thanks, Zac

    I am very low on space on my laptop and I have a huge amount of email in Outlook. Will archiving my email significantly reduce the amount of space that is used on my hard drive?

When I send out  an e-mail I am not receiving a receipt from the people I 
sent my e-mails to.   I would like to have a receipt without them knowing - I 
have a check mark in my Read receipt, there some that I do get a receipt but 
other I don't, how can this be.

Depending on their version of Outlook, they can deny sending out read 
receipts.

Maybe they have receipts disabled.

I have it set up but nothing happens.  I have no idea what else to try.  I am 
using Outlook 2003 and just paid so I can use hotmail through it.  I use this 
account for business so I need proof that the emails were sent and read.  Can 
anyone think why it is not working or what am I doing wrong.

4.Not receiving delivery receipts

Not receiving delivery receipts for my emails.  Have gone through and 
followed instructions up to and including clicking Delivery receipt check 
box.  I also do not get the tracking tab on my out going messages.  I lost 
the ability for the two items when I installed service pack 2.  Any 
suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

5.Not Receiving "Delivery Receipts"

Outlook 2k (with latest available MS patches) with XP Pro SP2 (with latest 
available MS patches)
Set up as Corporate/Workgroup in the E-mail Service Options

When I create a New Mail Message and check the "Request a delivery receipt 
for this message" in Options, I am not getting a "delivery receipt" even 
though some/all of the recipient(s) are definitely on an Exchange/Outlook 
system.  Is there some option that I have to activate to successfully 
request/receive a "delivery receipt"?  I AM receiving a "read receipt" from 
these recipients when this is selected in Options.
