Hello, I have a TV show theme in a .wav file that I want to use to notify me of new mail in Outlook 2003. I have Windows Media Player 8 for Win XP. I don't want to play the whole theme, just the intro. Can I shorten it? Thanks.

We are using the FAXCOM for EXCHANGE in receiving faxes to a Faxcom server with attahced .TIF copies of resumes. In Outlook 2000 the rules would allow us to print the attachment and header sheet and then move the fax/email to a folder outside of the inbox to prevent overloading. Outlook 2003 now presents a message "You should only open attachments from a trustworthy source". Well these are applicants and we have Norton AV to catch the viruses but we need to print these resumes on receipt and move the email out of the inbox before it fills to capacity. I have reviewed a great deal of the security etc. and cannot find where this is a blocked type of attachment. Any suggestions would be most welcome! Thanks!

3.sms pushing office xp on windows xp does not install

I did not know if it was best to put this in the SMS group or Office group,
but since SMS is working fine on everything else, I figured it was an Office
issue or a Windows issue.

Using SMS, I am pushing a custom install of Office XP via a command line
string. Here is the command line:

\\[server share]\Office_XP\Disk1\setuppls.exe /qb- NOFEATURESTATEMIGRATION=1
TRANSFORMS="\\[server share\Office_XP\Disk1\Custom Install\OXPPRO.MST" /nosp
/m off10

This command line works just fine with Windows 2000, however, on Windows XP
and Windows 2003, it fails. The following error appears in the "Office XP
Professional with FrontPage Setup.txt" file:

    Successfully launched MsiExec....
1/12/2006 12:03:00 PM Chained install return code: 1619

SMS shows a similar error in the SMS Status Messages log:

A failure exit code of 1619 was returned.
    User context: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM

Any ideas on why my install fails on Windows XP and 2003 but works fine on
Windows 2000?

4.Pushing Office 97 Updates with SMS

I am trying to push Service Release 1 and Service Release
2b through SMS. Can someone assist with doing a quiet
install using SMS? Thanks.

5.Question on deploying Office XP SP3 via Systems Management Server (SMS)

My corporation has established SMS 2.x and uses it to deploy Office XP SP3
to staff's machines (Windows XP & 2000). We define a SMS package that
includes OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-client-enu.exe program and specify the command
argument /Q for quite mode running (i.e. without user interaction). The
package has been successfully advertised and delivered to staff's machines.
However, when the program executes to the end, there is still a pretty lousy
confirmation dialog to require our staff to click the "OK" button.
Unfortunately, if the dialog is not suppressed, SMS server will not
recognize that the whole package has been successfully completed with SMS
status code 10008. Does anyone have the same experience with this situation?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
