I have a client that has Outlook 2003 installed. (And uninstalled, and reinstalled!) When typing in a new message his typing freezes then the words suddenly appear. He also has large delays in highlighting text for copy/paste. He has IE6, and I've checked for Malware and Ad ware. Virus protection is up-to-date. (Sophos). I've turned off Voice recognition, lengthened Auto-Save to 15 mins. I've checked the Plug- ins, and the window is empty. The Add-ons were disabled with no change. I think I've run out of options, does anyone have any ideas? I really could use some help figuring this one out. Thanks in advance.
  • 2. How do I view the Calendar Alarm in my Outlook 2007 appointment?
I have installed Office 2007. The only way I can tell if my calendar appointment has a reminder alarm is by opening the appt. In the 2003 version, I could see the alarm icon in the calendar view and know it had a reminder set. I am spending a silly amount of time opening and re-opening appts to check if it has a reminder. I'm sure it's just a setting, but I cannot find it....

  • 4. How do I export my address book in Outlook 2007
I would like to be able to export my Outlook2007 address book so that I can import it to another computer which Office 2003 on it or for that matter to another PC with Outlook2007 on it. . I have tried to export the address book using the File/Export but the folder it says it is exporting it to does not contain the file after the export is done. It says it is exporting it to Documents and Settings\UserName\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Outlook with the file name backup.pst but there is not such file in that directory after the export.

2.I can't remove an unwanted gif attachment when I send email

I hope someone has insight into this problem...

Whenever my friend sends email from Outlook, her message has a 1KB
attachment called "image001.gif". It's just a weird little 20x6 image
that looks like a spacer from a website. She uses this email account
for her business, so it's not good to have a meaningless attachment on
her outgoing messages.

I don't know when the problem started so I can't tie it to an event.
I've looked all over trying to find where to remove it. It's not part
of her signature. I thought it might be in her stationery, but I
wasn't successful finding it there (which isn't to say it's not a
stationery problem -- I just couldn't figure out how to access it).

Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

3.doc-send as email attachment- doesnt include my signature

When I have a document open and click send as e-mail attachement. My
specified signature doesn't appear in the opened e-mail to be sent. How do I
fix this? I have set up my signatures in Outlook with no problem. When I
open outlook click new e-mail and then attach the document the signature
appears. Is there a way to default your signature in send as e-mail option
on the document page?

4.I am unwittingly sending an attachment gif each time I send a mess

I am unwittingly sending an attachment gif each time I send a message.
Finally my sister asked what is the stupid 001.gif supposed to mean. I
looked at my sent messages and it is in each message located as an attachment
to open, under the subject line.
I have double checked all my e-mail settings options, defaults, etc. When
I send an e-mail I cannot see the attachment. I even turned off my
signature. I am annoying all of my contacts. I don't have that many to
spare. Can anyone help me?
