Message recall rarely works and only works sometimes if you use an exchange server. You can't recall on a stand alone machine. Uncheck send immediately to prevent messages from bypassing the Outbox. Then you have a chance to edit or delete. I'm trying to take advantage of my large screen and would like to view my composed messages in a "zoomed-in" view. Isn't there a way to zoom in and show a larger view on my screen (not larger fonts) while I'm composing an email?

Hi all I think my inbox has become corrupted. when I attempt auto-archiving, this fails, as does running rules in this folder. By searching backwards I have identified a cut-off date, before which all messages are both immovable and unable to be deleted. The PST file is currently hovering around 1GB and I'd really like to reduce it, but also need to be able to access all those all emails in the archive. In addition, although auto-archive grinds to a halt on the inbox, it has archived my calendar and appointments, so I cannot access these at the moment. does anybody have any ideas? Cheers Tony

For that matter, does any of Office 2000 work with Vista. The Vista upgarde
center does not say either way.

It will install but there will be problems. Number one is support which is gone. Number 2 has to do with the mode of Outlook many home users choose (IMO) will not be able to use the Windows Address Book since that service has been replaced by Vista Mail. I know I have heard of other conflicts in other office programs but I am unable to specifically recall which programs and what problems.

I have an IBM Thinkpad X31 and having freshly installed XP Home I wanted to
install Office 2000 Professional. This has failed with a pop-up asking me to
insert the XP Professional SP2 CD which I don't have. Why would it ask for
this? I have installed this previously on my desktop which has XP
Professional with no problems. What is wrong?

3.Office 2003 XP with Vista Operating System

Hello,
I purchased a new computer with the Vista Operating System and I hope
someone out there can advise me if it's possible to load Office 2003XP with a
Office 2007 Upgrade without difficulty and if so, how? I don't want to
purchase a brand new Office Suite if I don't absolutely have to. Can you
load 2003 Office XP and then load the 2007 Office Upgrade?

I am an amateur at this so be gentle! :-)

Any potential problems?

I know just enough to be dangerous. Thanks in advance for help.
