Is there a way to create an auto sig in Outlook express? I use Outlook but
many of the volunteers in my org are on express and are asking how to do an
auto sig. Thanks!

You can define your signature option for OE in;
Tools-> Options-> tab Signatures

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

2.Auto Signature Auto don't SpellCheck in MS Outlook

Hi college's

I am using Outlook MS office 2003 as a mail client. So far no problem.
Everythings works the whay i want.
The spellchecker corrects my mis types words while i am typing
I use Word as the e-mail editor.
It works fine.
But......................
Outlook ( and not word) turns off the automatic spellchecker in any auto
signature that i make. I do not want it to do, but it always does.
How can i make an auto signature that Outlook will check on spelling
mistakes.
If everyone says it is not possibele than ok. But knowing Bill Gaites i
know it is possibele.

Who knows the right answer

3.Outlook Auto Signature

I am trying to edit an Auto Signature and when I go to advanced edit, it
pulls me into Notepad instead of Word. I have my Mail Formatting set to use
Word as my mail editor, how can I get Outlook to use Word as the Auto
Signature editor?

4.Signature Auto-add Kills Spell Check in Outlook New Message

Outlook 2003 with Word 2003 as the email editor

When I set a signature to auto-add for a new mail message, it also stops
the spelling check for new messages. If I look in Outlook, the New
Message window > Tools > Language > Set Language > the box, "Do not
check spelling and grammar" is checked.

Depending on where I place the insertion cursor, this box is checked or
unchecked.

If I place the insertion cursor *below* the signature and then look at
the box, it's unchecked. But if I place the insertion cursor anywhere
else, in the sig or above, the box is checked.

According to Diane Poremsky, a MS MVP, there's a style Word uses with
the sigs, and it has spelling check disabled. In my case, this style
apparently affects the area above and in the signature both.

If I set <none> for the default signature, then in the New Message
window >Tools > Language > Set Language > the box, "Do not check
spelling and grammar" is not checked.

I can, of course, use a default sig, and then when I start a message,
manually uncheck the "Do not check spelling and grammar" box. But I
really shouldn't have to do this, but this is actually what I do.

So how do I use a default sig, but still be able to have (by default) an
area above the sig with a style that has Spell Check enabled?
