  • 1. Printing Name at top of email
Mike, I am battling this same problem. I have found that if in the File-Page Setup-Memo Style window, and with the Format tab selected, the bottom right section has two font options: Title & Fields. The Title font is your Name at the top of the email (above the line), the Fields are the To:, From:, Cc:, etc. below the line. While I have not discovered how to deletd the Title section of the printed emails, I have been changing the font to 1pt (and using a WingDings font) to make my name virtually undetectable. Please post if you discover how to delete the printed Title from the emails. >-----Original Message----- >When I print an email, my name is printed at the top of it >in bold lettering. I have looked in the header and the >username isn't there. I'm trying to get my name off of my >printed emails. Is there a setting I'm missing. I went to >the header and added the username. This only put my name >on the top of the email twice. Thanks for your assistance. >. >

  • 3. print beign cutoff of page.
I have a user who sent me the following message: "when I print this e-mail it gets cut off - it is too wide for the printed page. But, if I log off Outlook and go back in an print it - it is fine. What causes this?" I have read a few items about this happening, but can't recall what it may have been. Basically, the text is being cut off the end of the page of the email. Any advice is appreciated. We are an NT shop and she is using Outlook XP/2000. Thank you. Frank
  • 4. email doesn't print- period
My client cannot print from Outlook 2000, (windows 2000) on a certain printer (HP4100DTN). She can print on other networked lazer printers. The following is an error msg: windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup. Try one for more or the following: -check the printer by printing a test page from windows -make sure the printer is turned on and online -reinstall the printer driver. I have done all of the above. The problem is intermittent, and I am noticing it happen with other users. When the attachment (usually an office product) is opened and saved, subsequent attempts to print it off the same printer fail.

Every time I print an email I get the time stamp on the bottom left hand
corner of the page.
How do I remove that from all messages that I print out?

see if the date is iserted in the footer of page
(file>print>page setup>header/footer)
if so simply delete it from the left section of the footer

Hi There,

Thanks for your reply!
I had tried removing the date from the header/footer window but
unfortunately that didn't solve the problem. I shut down outlook after I
made the changes to the ehader and footer then opened it up again but it
didn't resolve the problem.

This one has me stumped.

Jack

2.How to remove bottom date stamp when printing HTML emails in Outlo

I am using Outlook 2003 (11.5608.5606).
When I print HTML emails, a date stamp is automatically placed at the bottom
left corner of the page. I need to print a group of HTML emails without the
date stamped on them but Microsoft does not have a feature to disable this
date stamp in Outlook. I have tried printing them in RTF but it does not
remove the date stamp. I have removed all date footers in print styles but I
have learned that HTML emails are printed out through a HTML rendering engine
that is built into Outlook's program, so it may be that there is no way to
remove the bottom date stamp short of revising the program's source code. I
don't know if any service packs or newer versions have resolved this issue.
Any guidance from an expert is appreciated.
