4.Hyperlink - specify a destination of hyperlink
Hello I have a question in regards to hyperlinks. I currently link about 60 or so documents a day to my Microsoft Project Master plan. When you click on "Insert" then "Hyperlink" the "Insert Hyperlink" box appears. In the "Look in" box, it defaults to "My Documents". I want to change that default to a shared drive where my projects are stored Here's what I tried so far 1) Help topic "Specify the destination of a hyperlink": "File" --> "Properties" --> "Summary" ta In the "hyperlink base" box I entered both the full path and then just the drive letter and folder and neither worked For example: \\Phx-idn-fs01\cimdom\Investment Projects -OR- I:\Investment Project 2) "Tools" --> "Options" --> "Save" ta In the "file locations" box you can click on "modify" button to modify the following - Project - User Template - Workgroup Template - ODBC Databas There doesn't appear to be an option for hyperlinks here. For the heck of it I changed all of them to the full path and they are working fine. Now I just need the "hyperlink" destination to be set up For example: File types: Project , Location: \\Phx-idn-fs01\cimdom\Investment Project If you can help that would be great! It would save me alot of time and frustration. Thanks in advance Justin
5.MS Project 2007 - Unable to save project or retrieve them properly
Hi, I have installed MS Project Server 2007 on Win2k3 as stand-alone installation and MS Project Professional on Win XP. Now, after logging into Project Professional using the Administrator (domain account of my server), I created & saved a project. But, this cannot be viewed on project web access site (logging on with the same user). The Administrator is the part of all security groups (Executives, PMs, TLs, etc) and security categories (My Organization, My Projects, etc) that were present in Manage Users. Waiting for reply. TIA, PS.
