  • 3. Display acronym in TOC
I am editing a document in Word 2003. The document authors have the section headings in all caps, but the Table of Contents displays the entries in initial caps. The problem is that one section heading contains a 3-letter acronym which should display in all caps. For some reason, Word displays the first 2 letters as caps, but not the third. I have corrected the entry by hand for now, but I would prefer a more permanent solution in case someone regenerates the TOC and this entry reverts to its previous state. Is there a way to edit the source code for this single entry to control how it displays in the TOC? Thanks!
  • 4. Word Places Bar for Save and Open
What I want to know is how you can possibly *not* have the My Computer icon in your places bar. Not only is it there by default, but you can't get rid of it by deleting its key from the registry, which is (for Office 2003) HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Common\Open Find\Places\StandardPlaces\MyComputer As soon as you reopen the dialog, the key is automatically restored. In any event, there is no path, UNC or otherwise, for My Computer. It's an artificial construct created by the Windows component Shell32.dll. • 5. "save as" malfunction
In Word 2002...when I choose save as and open a new folder to place document in I automatically loose the original name of the document which is replaced by the name of any document I pass my cursor over.

Hi Suzanne
I got it a different way I opened publisher and used their merge, it was not
displaying the zip the last time I tried, so when it asked for my data base
to merge I entered my excel file and it went in minus the zip again. So I
expanded the box and moved a colum to reveal the zip code and thats was all
that was needed to add the zip to the label. Thanks anyway
