I need to convert a number inputed into a form in Word into a text number.
e.g. the number 10,000 is inputed and next to it in brackets appears "(ten
thousand)

Look up the help topic "Format (\*) field switch" and read the part about
the \CardText switch. Use that switch in a Ref field that points to a
bookmark covering the number input

I knew it was simple and I had seen it before but I could not "phrase it" so
that Help would pick it up.
Brilliant guys thanks a lot

1.convert data inputed in vista format to windows office 2003

Looking for help with some email docs that I have received in vista
format.
They include labels & excel spreadsheets. Is it possible to
convert them somehow to enable me to print them out from windows
office 2003
or 2007? I asked the sender to save them as windows office 1997-2003
format &
resend them but even then when I try to print those out the label
setup
is altered.

3.Breaking a word by each alphabet and inputing it in different cells

Hi,

We have a form in Excel (something like a bank form) where the
details have to be filled in by each character in each cell.

for eg. the word PEPSI would be required to be typed by each alphabet
in the 5 adjoining cells.

Can someone help me out with a macro such that I type the word(could
be 5 to 20 characters long) in the first cell and run the macro. It
should automatically separate the characters in the adjoining cells.

Another way would be to place the cursor (active cell) on the first
cell and run the macro which would display an input box. On entering
the words in the input box and pressing enter, all the characters
would be displayed in separate cells starting from the first cell.

Thanks
Sandip.
