I have recently noticed a change in the Details view in my various Office applications such as Excel and Word. Previously the Details view headings showed as: Name/Date Modified/Type/Size/Tags Now the Detail headings show as: Date Taken/Tags/Size/Rating I don know how or why this Details view changed recentlyny advice/insight? Maybe I inadvertently changed some type of setting?? Any feedback is well appreciated. Thanks Forum, Jr.

My marketing department has been using Word 2002 and 2003 to lay out proposal documents. (We use Word rather than a lay out program for maximum accessibility to others in the company.) Our design calls for call out boxes, pictures, subtitles, etc. that we have been inserting into text boxes. This has allowed us the most freedom in placing this type of content. From time to time, our documents begin to act as though they are "overloaded." The screen image looks fine, but when we print the page, some boxes have disappeared and others have moved. This generally happens when we've been inserting pictures and have multiple text boxes with pictures and text - but not always. Is there a maximum number of text boxes a document can handle? Or are we running into difficulties because our picture files are too large? We generally insert the picture and change the size right within Word, rather than resizing through a program like Photoshop. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. - 2. Print quantity says "3" - how do I change it back to stay at "1"?
Somehow the quantity in print says "3" and I can't get it to change back to "1" and stay that way when I print again. I change it back to "1" but it says "3" the next time I print something. Any suggestions? - 3. In Office 2007 beta, where is the style area width option?
I just don't get the layout of 2007 beta. Where is normal view and the ability to see what style I'm in by having my cursor within a paragraph? - 4. closing a word document that does not want to be closed?

When I try to open a file in my documents, I get the error that the file is not available. When I try to open an excel document, it gives me the error that it is unable to open the file.

When I OPEN a file, I would like my VIEWS to always be set as DETAILS. How can I set this to be the permanent and forever default, ...so that for every time, for all files and all folders the VIEW is always set to be DETAILS? Thanks!

5.Details Missing in File Folder Detail View in Word
I use Vista Home Basic with Word 2003. When I am in Word and want to look at folders and files I either click on the open file icon or click on the word "file" then on "open". My default view is set to "DETAILS" as I find it helps me to see the date, time, etc. for a document. Here's the problem: The details categories are empty. At the top of the viewing box where the titles of the categories are supposed to be listed, the only category listed is "Name", then there is only one other space for a category title and it is blank. It used to list not only the title, but other category headings (such as date, size, etc.) and then list the details below. But somewhere along the line it quit doing so. When I use "Open" from the Windows "Start" button the details are listed. But I need the details listed when I use "Open" from Word - the way it used to. I have tried sliding the vertical divider lines that divide the category titles to see if maybe the lists were just off the edge of the page, but to now avail. There remains just the two columns. (The title col. and the blank col.) I've tried resetting the default and it doesn't change or fix it. Can anyone help with this? I'll be most grateful. Thank you!
