I can't get my flip/rotate to work in Word 2000. It looks like the whole menu for this function has been turned off. How can I enable it. I have Windows XP Home as my OS. Any suggestions? I've tried to search almost everywhere I can think of in Microsoft. Thanks.

Those options are enabled only if the current selection is an object that CAN be flipped or rotated, such as an autoshape. Try creating and selecting a rectangle (not a textbox) -- NOW those options will be enabled.
