  • 2. print a sample list of every font
Does anyone know how I can print one of those sample font lists without doing all the manual work to set it up? A while ago I came across a way to print several pages, each with one line in a different font and each line read, "The lazy brown fox jumped over the fence" Or something like that... Thanks for your expertise! Sarah

  • 4. How do I toggle between "insert" and "replace."
In previous versions of Windows, the zero-key on the numeric key pad would toggle between "Insert" and "Replace" when the NumLock key was off. With Windows XP/ Word 2007, the key no longer toggles; it is always in the "insert" mode. Is there some setting that I should be aware of that would make the Insert/Replace key functional?

typing stops repeatedly, need to click on page

Postby UXV5cmFo » Fri, 24 Mar 2006 09:53:30 GMT

While typing in Word 2003, I will get a line or perhaps 1/2 line typed then
typing disappears and stops. I have to click on page to resume typing. What
is causing this?

Something is stealing focus - possibilities include speech recognition,
accidental contact with the over-sensitive touchpad of a laptop, anti-virus
software or whatever else you have running at the time.

3.How do I stop Office from repeatedly asking for name and initials

I manage a school network running XP with Office 2007. When users open Word
or PowerPoint 2007, it asks for their name and initials like it would the
first time they opened it, and the users enter them as usual. But then
Office starts asking for them again and again every few seconds, making it
impossible to accomplish anything. I have no clue what would be causing this
to happen, as we've had this setup for over a year now and it just started
happening.
Any help would be appreciated.

Why does Word 2007 stop responding when I try to save, print or exit? I've

(e.g. PowerPoint).
