We have office 2003 and word 2003, print driver is hp 2420 pcl 6. I have tried to change drivers but doesn't seem to fix.. I have tried 1. Close Word. 2. Cleanup and delete all left over Word temp files using Start=>Search and the search string of ~$*.*;*.tmp 3. Restart Word and open the same document you were working on. doesn't work. has there been a fix for this or does anyone know how to fix this. - 4. How can I get labels to print in order-down first, then across,?
I know there used to be a choice to have labels either print across and then down - or, down and then across. Now, it seems to default to across then down and I can't find how to change it - I have searched in print set up, page set up, mail merge, options - everywhere I can think of! - 5. How do I add a header onto my second page?
I need to add a header to my second page only but I can only seem to add it to both pages. Also, it is not allowing me to add page numbers to my second page only.

Hi Ripples, If you're in 'Draft' view, try switching to Print Layout view. If you're in Print Layout view check Office Button=>Word Options=>Advanced (Alt, T, O, A) and in 'Show Document content' turn off [x] Show Picture Placeholders. ============ I'm using word 2007 and when I insert images into the document I can't see them- can't adjust them << -- Bob Buckland ?:-) MS Office System Products MVP *Courtesy is not expensive and can pay big dividends*

I'm trying to insert a picture from my scanner into Word. I'm using my scanner's WIA driver. If I scan in color the image appears in word fine. Running Win2K - Word2K3 fully patched Since a while now I can't see images anymore in documents which were generated as WordML (through xslt transformation). I can't remember when this problem exactly occurred for the first time and thus heave no idea what could have caused it. In the near past these documents have been displayed succesfully on my machine. If I open these documents on another machine (same setup) the images are still visible though. Thanks for your time. 3.Pictures or Graphs don't appear when I open a Word Document
I use different word templates to create newsletters and flyers. For some reason with my copy of word my Pictures or Graphics don't always appear when I open a document. I can see a blank space and outline if I click on it. Sometimes they'll appear when I do a print preview. They always always print correctly and like I said can see the outline of where they should go but just can't see them all the time. Is this a refresh or load time issue?? I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that I haven't found. I'm running a pentium 1.8 with with 768 ram, windows XP pro, and Office 2003. My computer isn't slow, b ut I know the same document immediately loads fine on other machines, so I "assume" it's an office setting somewhere. Thanks
4.pictures inserted in Word documents don't print?
The pictures I insert into Word documents don't show up in the print preview, nor do they print. They do show up on the screen, though, and I can crop them, resize them and even format the text -- wrap, write over, write under, all that. So while I'm working on the document, it looks like everything's going great; and then I print out and get only the text. I'm using Windows XP.
