  • 1. Showing/Printing the signature "Comments" on a digital signature.
In Office 2007 there is the option to insert digital signatures and to attach "comments" to those signatures. However, the default implementation is to only show the "comments" when double-clicking on the digital signature. Is there a way to get the comments to show up in the digital signature box on the screen and, in turn, print with the document? Thanks in advance for the help.
  • 2. Envelope insert delivery address to include business name?
How do I configure Word 2007 so that when I use the "insert address" tool to automatically populate the delivery address of an outlook 2007 contact, it includes the contacts business name? Now it only includes the contact name and address. I must then manually type the business name.
  • 3. Word Will Not Associate To .doc
Ok, I am running on Vista Premium, and ever since I bought Office 2007 I have had an ongoing issue. At first I was simply able to double click on a word doc, and open it.... as you would expect. But now it will not open. I can open word, and use ctrl+o to open my file, but really for the cost of Office, this isn't good enough. Im not an idiot, so if you are going to tell me to "open with" please do not bother, I know the usual solution, editing file associations etc... they do not work, as they are not able to recognise Word as a valid win32 application. For some unrelated reason 'reg edit' will not initialise from my command bar, so I can not edit that way. Also, Word does seem to associate with .docx and other doc file types, its literally just .doc it wont associate to. It seems to be running SP2 for office, any solutions please? Many thanks,

How do I keep my Text Form Fields from dissappearing when I do a Mail Merge to New Document in Word 2003? I tried the Macro solution on the MS website and that doesn't want to work right. I have created a form to email to independent contractors in my field that I would like them to fill out and email back to me, but when I mail merge they all dissappear but my Drop-Down Boxes stay. At the top of my form I also have data that I have merged from an Excel file. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Word 2003 background (fill effect) prints incorrectly-not WYSIWYG

When a Word background "fill effect" is set via menu
format > background> fill effects > gradient >preset >fire ( from center).
It displays as 1- 2 large rectangles on the page. This is the same when
viewed from print preview.

Howvever when printing this background, it prints as large amount small
rectanges approx ( across 6 and 11 down ) . It has effectivly re-sized the
output to the printer.

This does not seem to be a printer problem as I have tested this with
different prints.

Any advice on how to fix this would be very helpful.

G'day Remco < XXXX@XXXXX.COM >,

Is said printer set to be the default? Also, I thought this feature
was mainly for web page use. If you insert a graphic in a header or
footer, and float it over the page you achieve a similar background
effect.

1.Word problem printing background fill effect - Gradient

I'm having trouble printing a document with a color gradient
background fill effect. Word does not print backgrounds by default,
so I checked the box to do so. The background prints, but
incorrectly.

The background gradient I'm using is the one that is light in the
center and darker at the left and right margins. Print preview shows
the correct gradient on the left, but the gradient light to dark is
missing on the right. I've printed to .PDF and a couple different
printers. Actual printing comes out with stripes, the gradient is
repeated six times across the document!

How can I print the color background gradient correctly?

2.Background & Fill Effects in word 2003

I have a user who is trying to add some background, fill effects. When you
select this option the "Gradient" & "Texture" tabs do not display or show any
options. The boxes are all grayed out. Can not seem to have them redisplay
the gradient's and textures so the user can choose their options.

Have tried detect & repair and looked under accessibilty option as well.

Any help would be great.
