- 1. msword2003 does not the error message for corrupt word file
Word was unable to read this document. It may be corrupt" error message when you open a document in Word 2003 my word 2003 does not show this error message ,while doc is not is correct. i open a zip folder using word2003 it open it and text are not in readable format.how i can fix it that when doc is not correct it shold show the error, - 2. I can't type while my printer is running.
I have always been able to continue typing while the printer is running. This just happened. Did something get turned off (or on?) - 3. Strike Through - Bulleted items - striking bullet?
WOrd 2002 I am trying to use "strike through" with a document that contains quite a number of bulleted lists. I carefully select the words in the bullet and apply strike through. But, it strikes through not only the selected text, but also the bullet itself and the empty space between the bullet and the text. I've shut of "smart paragraph selection" to keep it from grabbing more than I want. If I do not select the first character in the text, it works fine. It also works fine if I select from the start but not the end of the text.I've tried turning on the paragraphs markers and making sure that the marker is not selected - it isn't. Oddly, if I select several bullet items, the one at the bottom (paragraph marker not selected) will work fine, all those above have their paragraph markers selected and will strike through as noted above. Any thoughts or techniques to correct this? Thanks, - 4. MS Word Drop-Down list linked to outside source?
I was wondering if it is possible to link a word drop down list to an outside source such as an Excel list or and Access table. My Scenario: I have created 70+ locked templates that use some similiar drop down lists. These lists include Judges, Lawyers, and Arbitrators names that can change monthly. So i was looking for a better solution than me editing every drop down list on each template. I would like to be able to link a drop down list to say an MS Access table and so i can just edit the table and each drop down would just pull the info from that. Is this possible to do or is there a better solution? TIA Ed - 5. custom list for bullets & numbering
I am using an Outline Numbered list, but I want the Level 1 numbering to be the months of the year. I see a couple of textual numbered lists (One, Two, Three and First, Second Third) but I don't see months of the year. Is there a way to create a custom list, using the names of the months?
