  • 1. Citations
Can someone help me by explaining how to do citations, I just do not understand it.
  • 2. Turn off style pane hover description
Word 2007 - Using style pane is close to useless since when I move the mouse over the styles the pop-up description balloon usually obscures three or four other styles, making it a game of mouse-quick-off, mouse-quick-on to pick one of the styles hidden by the popup. Please tell me there's a way to turn off this annoying feature? Thanks. Gary
  • 3. Automatically filling out a doc
I have a standard agreement with an area to enter addressee, title, company and company address. Those entries are reused in different parts of the document. Is there a way to make the text entered in the entry area flow automatically to the appropriate places in the remainder of the document?
  • 4. Mouseover for Footnotes in Word 2007
Older versions of Word show the contents of a footnote when the mouse passed over the footnote number. This seems to have gone away in Word 2007 running under Vista 64. Is there something I can to to resotre this function?

Can someone tell me how to get the items selected in Customize Status Bar to show up on the status bar? I right clicked the bar and have several items 'checked' and nothing is showing on the status bar and I'd really like to see number of pages and other items. Thanks! Harriet

last lines of text don't display in text boxes for 1 user

User A creates a complex document with graphics & text. User B opens the
doc, the last lines of text don't display in text boxes. User B must scroll
in text boxes to the end of the text to see the last few lines. It's like
the text font is too big for the text box size. User A & I open the doc &
have no problems with truncated text. We all use same Win XP Pro + Office
2003 SP2 corp image. Rename user B's Normal.dot to Normal.old?

Are all users using the same printer?

2.Text Boxes created in 2003 PPTs don't display correctly

It is kind of hard to describe, but does anyone have any thoughts on how to
tackle this? Any deck created in 2003 has the text in all text boxes pushed
up outside the dashed line of the text box. The text is pushed up by about
1.5 character high. If I step the font down, the amount it is pushed up
scales.

I created a new deck using PP2007 and the new deck has all the text boxes
showing correctly. I cut a text box out of the new deck and pasted it into
the 2003 deck, and the text box showed the bad behavior. I did the same on
the slide master and again the text content is pushed up above the dashed
line of the text box itself.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be very much appreicated.

Thanks,
jf
