It sounds like two things are happening: 1. Wrapping is set to In line with text, and 2. Paragraph spacing is set to Exactly #, where # is less than the amount needed to display the clipart. You should be able to fix the immediate issue by right-clicking the paragraph marker where the picture resides, choosing Paragraph, and setting Line Spacing to Single. (There are a variety of ways to fix this... this is just one of them.) If this is happening all the time in all documents, a longer term fix would be to change the default formatting for paragraph spacing (Exactly is not the built-in default, and is a setting that can create a number of problems -- it sometimes results from pasting text from other sources, such as web pages, where Exactly spacing is used with wild abandon by web designers). So, if this is happening all the time, the quick & easy solution is to delete Normal.dotm and let Word create a new one. Another solution would be to change the default method for inserting pictures to something other than In line with text (which is done in Word Options - Advanced - Cut, copy, and paste section. If your default paragraph spacing is set to Exactly, however, you will invariably end up with related problems in the future, not ncessarily related to graphics (i.e., clipped text). -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://www.**--****.com/ Web: http://www.**--****.com/

I've been inserting clip art into my document, but when I preview it and/or print it out, it doesn't print. My print out doesn't match what I see on the PC.
2.downloaded clip art shows in preview but doesn't print
I have a MacBook and I am using Word 2008. I do not see any options in Tools. Any suggestions? Thanks..
3.clip art and word art not showing
i've been trying to update my mthly newsletter and all of sudden i an upable to see any clip art or word art i've placed in the docs (it will show on printed doc's only) very diffcult if not impossible to work on a doc without seeing all items and their placement on a page. i went to other pub docs and found all pub docs saved are doing the same. have uninstalled and reinstalled have done ck on fixes nothing seems to work. has anyone had or have this problem other then me and if you did have and fixed how thanks for a quick response. i have to have this doc out by the 15th of the month -- Val Sales Director Mary Kay Cosmetics
4.pictures/clip art inserted in word don't show, just a frame shows
When I insert pictures or graphics into a word document it doesn't show. All you see is the frame where the item would be. With Clipart items (other than photos) if you right click on it and select "edit the picture" you can then see it, but if it happens to be a photo or an item which is not a clipart item then that option is not available. This is really frustrating as I do a lot of proposals and documentation for our company which requires me to insert logos, charts and photo's. Has anyone experienced this problem before? I have checked all my settings, but can't find anything there that looks "wrong".
5.Clip art gallery doesn't work
I have Word 2000 (MS Office 2000) and I have installed the clip art gallery. For some reason my cliip art gallery won't accept, import, or show files downloaded from the online clip art gallery. Why? How can I fix this? It used to work and then one day it didn't. I've reinstalled since then.
