1.VBA paste clipboard picture
Word 2002; windows 2000
Having a new document open and pressing a command button to run my VBA
command: it opens a master document and copies a picture of a signature off
the master document to the clipboard. It closes the master document and
returns the new document letter that I am writing. It pastes the signature
to the new letter.
The problem is that it does not paste it where my cursor is. It pastes it
at the top of the document. Is there something in my coding that would tell
it to paste it at the insertion point.
Thank you in advance...
2.Office Clipboard shows icon(s) when first opened, and can't paste XP clipboard contents
Hi,
I'm using Windows XP Home SP2 and Office 2003, a wired keyboard
and using Word 2003 as my email editor.
When I try to copy from the internet and paste into Outlook all I get
is an icon rather than the text/picture I've copied (Ctrl-C) from the
net. This happens everytime if Outlook/Office is closed when I make my
selection. However, if Outlook/Office is open when I make my selection
then the selection pastes as expected. I'm pretty sure this didn't use
to happen, and it doesn't happen when I use Windows 2000 SP4 and
Office XP/2002 at work.
Is there an option to allow this, or is it a bug or something that
wipes out the clipboard when I open Office? I would expect that
the XP clipboard is separate from Office and should contain whatever
I copy under any circumstance. Therefore I have to assume that
Office isn't handling the data from the XP clipboard properly when
opening. When I first open Outlook, if I look in the clipboard I can
see anywhere from 1-4 icons. There's a blue one with a green arroe
like a floopy insert icon, then there are up to 3 other Yellow floppy
icons one with a green checkmark, one with a red cross (X), and one
plain yellow floppy icon.
I thought I'd read something about the first entry in the Office
clipboard getting mangled or deleted or something when Office opens,
but I can't recall where. Anyway this is really driving me
crazy, if you can help me I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Norm
3.Cannot Edit pasted Picture in Word 2003
I recently rolled out Office 2003 to my organization and when we used to be
on Office 2000 we would be able to take a print screen and paste it into
Word. well now since we are on Office 2003 once the picture is pasted into
the word document, you cannot right click on the picture and hit edit, EDIT
is grayed out. How can I get this EDIT option available to me? Any help
would be appreciated Thanks

4.Editing a Table Pasted from Excel into Word as a Picture (Enhanced Metafile)
Hi:
I am copying a section of an Excel Spreadsheet, and then pasting into
word using Paste Special -> Picture (Enhanced Metafile)
When I right click on the object in word, one of the menu choices is
"Edit Picture" This will allow me to change text in the picture, which
seems to be included through the use of text boxes. I make a minor
change that is required, but then I cannot seem to revert the image or
picture back to its previous form, which seems to be as a normal
picture file that has been inserted. The only way I can figure out
how to do this is by using the undo command, but I loose my text
chance. If the picture stays in the new, editable format, whenever I
click into it, all of the text is becomes highlighted, which really
slows down my ability to continue work on the rest of the document.
The new format seems to be seen by word as a Drawing Canvas.
Does anyone know how I can make a text change, and then get Word to
see the image as an inserted picture file again as opposed to this
drawing canvas?
Thanks,
Brooks
5.Editing a Table Pasted from Excel into Word as a Picture (Enhanced
If you need to edit the text in the table, I'd recommend pasting special as
an Excel worksheet object, not as a picture. It'll show as a metafile
anyway, but when you need to edit you can edit in in Excel.
