I have created several files that have auto shapes (circles with connectors)inserted. However, in one document, every time I insert an auto shape connector it changes the view to normal view from print layout view and I can not see the graphic. What code is in that document to cause that to happen?

My proposal has a cover letter. At the end of the letter I inserted a "section break". This ended that page. Technically this is page 2 of my document, but I'm starting this 2nd page at page 1. Hi, I have an index which lists entries at 2 levels (i.e. may xe entries have subentries ":") The index is in 3 columns and spreads over 2-3 pages. So, the problem, which seems simple but has been driving me mad for far too long, How do I make all the subentries stay underneath the main entry, without a page/column break getting in the way? When I open MS Word (2003) I have to cycle through view header/footer, in order to start at the correct spot in the document body. Otherwise, the text starts at the very top edge of the document. In the old Word I used to be able to click on Text Box, or an Auto Shape, and then be able to size and place the box wherever I wanted. Now, it autmatically inserts a presized shape where IT wants to in my document. 5.Insert blank page following page-sized shape?
I created a cover using a page-sized rectangular shape, so I could fill a color. Now I can't figure out how to add any pages below the cover page. If I insert a new page, it appears before my cover. I tried page breaks, section breaks. Any suggestions?
