Think About this scenario A few virus writers and hackers get together, cos they collectively want to get back at Bill Gates for putting a bounty on their heads So they hack msn for a few hours and put up a bogus upgrade which doesn't look right and doesn't work properly if at all but they don't have much time to do it, which is why at 7am this morning UK time neither of my machines could run MSN So I upgraded one only and realised within minutes that I had made a mistake So cleared that machine, and 2 hours later tried this machine and got straight on no prob without upgrading Think about it, it makes sense, not that MS would prolly admit it Trolls & spammers nuke them till they glow then shoot them in the dark .

I know this question has been asked alot but ive tried what has been said in the responses and nothing works. Msn messenger 6.0 worked fine, i installed 6.1, and every time i log in, online users start appearing, and then i am logged out. How do i fix it?

After upgrading, the display of "my status" is overlayed over the word "online". Is there a fix for this?

Does MSN messenger support any moble device in the Philippines, because I keep getting Verizon in 6the U.S. when I try to setup my Mobile Device Settings? If so or if not, is there any plans for supporting Smart and/or Globe Telecom in the future? (Globe and Samrt are the two mainstream moblie communication companies here in the Philippines).

Greetings Bethany,

Actually it's just a registry key but if you don't want to tinker there, you can simply
install Messenger Plus! ( http://www.**--****.com/ ) which adds the full palette (right where the
font color selection is now). Be aware that if you are installing Plus, to read through the
installer (you probably do not want the sponsor program).

Just for fun, I made my email font "maroon" for one email, and now I cannot
get rid of it!

I go to "Format" then "Font" and change it back to black, click ok and it is
black for that one email. Next time I send an email, it is still defaulting
to Maroon and I have to change it.
