I have a problem. When I go to save an office document and the file save dialog pops up, if I try to save a file in a different location by clicking on the pulldown menu the system hangs and takes forever to show the directory contents of the pulldown menu. Any suggestions? Thanks. H
  • 3. I need a MS Outlook developer ASAP for a small project
Hi - I know there is a high possibility that this is not the correct forum to post this in but if it is not, and someone could direct me to where I should post this, I would be grateful. I have a Custom appointment form which has been made in Outlook. However, it needs to be able to be deployed a MS Exchange server and we have just found out that you have to write the form in some other laguage for that to happen. I also need the Outlook calendar to print out in a certain format in Word, which I already have created in VB but I think I need a Com add in to make it all work together. Does anyone know anyone who is capable and able to do this work? Please HELP!!! Thanks, Amy XXXX@XXXXX.COM .

WOW!

Well who would have known that to be an issue above all else!.... Certainly
a goofup there, any way to fix that in a later SP or something?

I had tested this on a pc of one of our users, and of course computer name +
computer user = no Picture Manger, then changed the computer and BAM it works
like it should.

now i'll have to change a couple more and actually get them to use it. More
training....

Thanks for letting us know! and hope others can get around this strange issue.

4.Edit picture from Office Picture manager 2003 doesn't work

I have installed Office 2003 Pro on an Windows XP Pro SP2 workstation. This
workstation is a member of a Win 2003 AD domain. I can't make the edit
function of Picture Manager to work if the user is not in the local admins
group. On the domain it is aplied the default domain security policy. Why
does the user has to be member of the local admins group in order to edit a
picture? Is there a way to enable this function without moving the user to
the local admins group?

Thanks
