I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro due to a virus and had an upgrade version of Office Pro 2003 from Office XP Small Bus Ed that came preinstalled on my Dell. I no longer have and cannot find the Small Bus ED disk. Trying to reinstall the ugrade will not work because it cannot find any previous version of Microsoft Office. Microsoft Office is still on my C Drive and but there is no executable file to re-install it. I've contacted Dell and trying to figure how to reinstall the software. Does anyone have any links or suggestions. I don't want to rebuy another Office Package

tried office 2003 trial but didn't think extra cost worth the change. Now
after reloading my office 2000 prof, it won't read office files (even those
created before office 2003).

Back up files. Uninstall both 2000 and 2003. Reboot. Reinstall Office 2000.

1.New PC - Can't uninstall office 2003 trial, therefore cannot install office 2000

AAHAHHHHHHHHRRRHHG

A brand new PC from MESH (UK). All this cr*p preinstalled that I do not
want. Try uninstalling office 2003 60 day trial through control panel.

While "Gathering required information..." is displayed, gets half way and
then nothing. Left it for a good hour, no progress.

Try then to just install Office 2000 over it (which I own and am happy with)
no joy as it tries to uninstall first.

What can I do?

PLEASE HELP!!!! I'm getting far too stressed about this.

Cheers

Dave

2.problems reading office 2000 files in office 2003

On my personal computer I am using Word 2000, and at work I am using Word 2003.

I am having difficulty in reading one of my 2000 manuscripts in 2003. The
loading of the text hangs at around 30%.

After reloading 2003 it says it has recovered from a serious error.

3.Office 2003 Trial Version to Office 2000

I had the 2003 trial version on my computer and when it expired I installed my copy of Office 2000. How can I get my email to work. It says the .pst files are not compatible. Am I going to lose my previous emails and contacts? Please help!

4.Office 2003 Trial period over - want to return to Office 2000

Help! I was using Office 2000 and I unwittingly activated the trial version
of MS Office S & T Edition 2003. Now the trial period is over. I do NOT
want to purchase the full version. Instead, I want to return to my Office
2000.
I read on MS.com that I need to uninstall the trial version THEN reinstall
Office 2000.
If so will my emails and docs on the trial version still be there?
Has anyone done this? Advice? Please.

5.Office 2000 Premium and Office 2003 Trial Version

I was tired of my computer defaulting to Office 2003 Trial when I have a full
version of 2000 installed on my computer. I removed 2003 using the add and
remove program in the start menu and now my 2000 full version is asking for
the disk when I try to open any of the programs. (I can not find my 2000
disk). Any advice on how I can fix this?
